You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage, uneven panel fit, or repair work that could affect long-term ownership. Should I buy a 2024 Tesla Model 3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.13% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newer version with strong user satisfaction and a market that still shows healthy demand, the 2024 is the primary path to consider. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing closely, especially if you can find a cleaner example at a lower asking price.
