Used 2024 Subaru Solterra for Sale nearTulsa, OK

How much does the 2024 Subaru Solterra cost?

Prices have softened 7.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 557 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Subaru Solterra a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Subaru Solterra earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The Solterra is positioned as Subaru’s updated electric SUV, with changes aimed at making it more credible and more appealing than before. The cabin is more accommodating, and the vehicle’s stylish design and comfortable character are clear strengths.

The trade-offs are just as clear: unimpressive electric range remains an issue, and power is underwhelming. It also suits you best if you want an EV with Subaru’s familiar traction-focused identity rather than a high-performance electric crossover.

37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Subaru Solterra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Solterra’s reliability case is helped by Subaru’s updated charging setup and refreshed standard safety features for 2024. The expert summary also points to a more credible EV package than before, which matters when you’re evaluating long-term ownership confidence.

The performance notes suggest the Solterra is structurally sound and behaves predictably, even if its power delivery is modest. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic durability and more about living with limited range and slower charging than you may want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru Solterra?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings. Focus on battery charging behavior, tire wear, and whether the cabin and driver-assistance systems operate as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium trim is the most basic version, while Limited and Touring add more upscale equipment. The base trim’s 8-inch touchscreen is smaller than the 12.3-inch unit in the higher trims, and the more expensive versions also bring features like a surround-view camera, wireless charging, and premium audio.
• Powertrain: Every Solterra uses a dual-motor AWD setup with 215 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque. Output is modest, so you should expect smooth everyday driving rather than strong acceleration.
• Safety package: EyeSight is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes front cross-traffic alert, proactive driving assist, hands-free driving under 25 mph, active lane-change assist, DriverFocus, intersection collision avoidance, emergency steering assist, emergency stop assist, and a traffic-ahead-moving notification. The lane-centering system’s execution is a known weak point.
• Infotainment: Premium trim gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. Limited and Touring upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen, plus a surround-view camera, wireless smartphone charging, and an 11-speaker Harman Kardon system.
• Range & charging: Premium is rated at 227 miles of range, while Limited and Touring are rated at 222 miles. The battery is 72.8 kWh, and Subaru says charging is improved for 2024; in testing, a 150-kW DC fast charger still took about two hours to fill the battery from empty.
• Battery health: With any used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, ask how the car was typically charged, and confirm whether it spent most of its life on home charging or frequent DC fast charging. Also verify how much of the battery warranty remains so you know what protection you still have.

Which 2024 Subaru Solterra trim should I buy?

The 2024 Subaru Solterra is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Limited, Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the value-focused choice if you want the Solterra’s standard dual-motor AWD, wireless smartphone integration, and core safety tech without paying for the higher-trim extras. It’s the best-value trim if you care more about the Solterra’s basic EV package than luxury add-ons.
• Limited: This is the trim to target if you want the biggest step up in everyday convenience, because it adds the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, surround-view camera, wireless charging, and premium audio. It’s the sweet spot for many shoppers.
• Touring: Choose this if you want the most upscale Solterra experience, with the same higher-end tech content as Limited and the most fully equipped presentation in the lineup.

The standard EyeSight safety package is broad across the lineup, but the execution is not perfect, so you should still test the driver-assistance systems yourself.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru Solterra?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 557 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.95% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,683, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru Solterra's resale value?

The current average of $25,616 sits slightly below last year's $27,829.

That price movement suggests the Solterra has softened enough to create a more approachable used-buying window. For a future seller, that also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle presents against newer EV alternatives.

Because the Solterra’s range and charging speed are not class-leading, buyers may remain selective over time. A clean history and strong condition should help you preserve value better than average.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Subaru Solterra safe?

The 2024 Subaru Solterra earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard EyeSight suite includes front cross-traffic alert, proactive driving assist, hands-free driving under 25 mph, active lane-change assist, DriverFocus monitoring, intersection collision avoidance, emergency steering assist, emergency stop assist, and a traffic-ahead-moving notification. That’s a broad feature set, but the lane-centering system’s behavior is a known shortcoming.

You should also pay attention to how the system behaves in real-world driving, because the expert notes point to execution issues even though the hardware list is impressive.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru Solterra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 update improves charging, comfort, convenience, and standard safety features.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,090, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $25,616 average.
• It introduced Subaru’s first all-electric model with symmetrical all-wheel drive and a sensible interior.

The bottom line: If you want the more refined and better-equipped Solterra, the 2024 is the better pick. If your priority is spending less and you’re comfortable with the earlier version’s core strengths, the 2023 is the value-oriented alternative.
