Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Should I buy a 2024 RAM 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,719, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,057 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and refinement with a polished cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $42,857, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,057 average.
• It adds major tech and powertrain upgrades.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-market availability. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the newest updates and are willing to pay more.
