How much does the 2024 Porsche Macan cost?

Prices have softened 11.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,979 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare across trims and conditions.

Is the 2024 Porsche Macan a good car?

The 2024 Porsche Macan stands out as a compact SUV that leans hard into Porsche’s sporty character while still delivering the premium feel you expect from the brand. It is a five-seater, but its sleek, coupe-like shape means it is not especially spacious inside, so its appeal is less about maximum practicality and more about driving enjoyment and upscale presentation.

For 2024, the gas-powered Macan received no updates, so its appeal comes from the strengths already built into the model. All versions have all-wheel drive and a seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung dual-clutch automatic transmission with manual gear-change capability. Standard equipment has long been generous, with features such as electric front seat adjustment, electric folding door mirrors, and a power tailgate.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a fast, fun compact SUV with a high-quality interior and a premium look and feel. 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Porsche Macan reliable?

The 2024 Porsche Macan has a strong reputation for reliability, and that adds to its appeal as a premium used SUV. It also benefits from a well-established formula, with standard all-wheel drive and a dual-clutch automatic transmission that has been part of the model’s identity for years.

For used buyers, that means the bigger risk is usually not the concept of the vehicle itself but how well a specific example has been maintained and driven over time. A careful inspection and clean service history matter more when you are buying a performance-oriented luxury SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Porsche Macan?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or a vehicle with performance-oriented options. Focus on signs of wear in the interior, tires, brakes, and suspension, since those areas can tell you a lot about how the SUV was used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,979 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $56,139, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $56,139 sits slightly below last year's $63,368.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy with less risk of overpaying. If you plan to sell later, the Macan’s premium positioning and strong brand appeal should help support demand, but your eventual resale value will still depend heavily on mileage, condition, and equipment. Buying well now matters because a lower entry price gives you more room to absorb normal depreciation later.

Should I buy a 2024 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.41% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is a smart choice if you want the Macan’s core strengths at a softer market price and you value a current-year example with broad inventory to compare. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point, but the 2024 is the better path if you want to balance availability, condition, and a meaningful price drop from last year.
