How much does the 2024 Porsche Cayenne cost?

Prices have softened 37.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,145 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2024 Porsche Cayenne a good car?

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne stands out because it blends Porsche performance with the practicality of a midsize SUV. It is described as more powerful, efficient, and advanced than its predecessors, and the minor styling refresh plus suspension tuning help it feel more polished without changing the formula dramatically.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a luxury SUV that still prioritizes driving enjoyment, especially since even the base version is positioned as a serious performance SUV. The tradeoff is that it is expensive, comes with few standard features, and has limited cargo capacity, so it works best if you value the badge, the driving experience, and refinement over maximum utility. 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Porsche Cayenne reliable?

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne is described as a refined, sturdy, and genuinely quick SUV with solid construction. It also benefits from standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, which supports its polished everyday character.

At the same time, maintenance is pricey, so long-term ownership can be more expensive than the purchase price suggests. For used buyers, that means reliability may be less about major surprises and more about budgeting carefully for upkeep.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Porsche Cayenne?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has higher mileage or optional performance equipment. Focus on signs of wear in the interior, suspension, brakes, and maintenance records, since upkeep costs can be meaningful on this model.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Porsche Cayenne?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,145 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 37.43% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $83,548, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $83,698 sits slightly below last year's $133,774.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. If you keep the Cayenne well maintained and avoid heavy wear, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 37.43% compared with last year.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $102,844, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $83,698 average.
• It offers a more agile driving experience.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the better value and a broader pool of listings to compare. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model and a more performance-focused feel, the 2025 is the stronger premium alternative.
