Used 2024 Nissan Z for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2024 Nissan Z cost?

Prices have softened 2.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 328 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Nissan Z a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Nissan Z earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise the vintage-inspired design, strong performance, and driving experience that feels like a true sports car. The manual transmission also stands out as a major draw if you want a more involved drive, and the handling gets repeated praise as a core strength.

The trade-offs are familiar for a two-seat sports car: cargo space is limited, and the ride can feel harsh on rough roads. That said, the Z is aimed squarely at shoppers who care more about style and performance than practicality, so those compromises fit the mission.

With 39.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Nissan Z reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways sports-car shoppers care about most: strong performance, a satisfying driving experience, and a design that owners continue to enjoy over time. The expert evaluation also emphasizes that the Z’s focus stays on the driving experience rather than gimmicks, which supports the sense that it’s built around a clear, durable formula.

The powertrain and chassis are presented as robust and purpose-built, and the NISMO version adds more cooling, bracing, and brake hardware for harder use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about how the car was driven and maintained, especially if it saw spirited use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Z?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a car that may have been driven hard. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake wear, and signs of rough-road use, since this model’s ride and performance character can make those issues more noticeable.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Base Z Sport models get 18-inch alloy wheels, while Performance and NISMO models move to staggered Rays wheels and more aggressive tire setups. The NISMO also adds red accent striping, a more distinctive front end, and Recaro seats, so you can use those equipment differences to judge whether the extra cost matches your priorities.
• Powertrain: All models use a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with rear-wheel drive and a limited-slip differential. Sport and Performance trims make 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, while the NISMO raises output to 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft and pairs it only with the nine-speed automatic.
• Safety package: All models include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and forward collision warning. There are no crash-test ratings listed for this generation.
• Infotainment: Base models get an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Performance and NISMO models upgrade to a 9-inch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, and a Bose eight-speaker audio system with active noise cancellation.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel economy ratings for 2024 models weren’t available at the time of publication.

Which 2024 Nissan Z trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Z is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, Performance, NISMO.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Z formula: the twin-turbo V6, rear-wheel drive, a limited-slip differential, a manual transmission option, and the retro-inspired design that defines the car. It makes the most sense if you want the Z experience without paying for extras you may not need.
• Performance: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Bose audio, and the staggered Rays wheel setup while keeping the same 400-horsepower V6. If you want the most balanced mix of equipment and price, this is the one to target.
• NISMO: This is the most track-focused version, with 420 horsepower, more aggressive suspension and brake hardware, structural bracing, unique styling, and Recaro seats. It’s the right pick if you want the sharpest Z and are willing to pay for it, but it’s harder to justify on value alone.

All models include the same basic driver-assistance features, so your trim choice is mostly about performance, comfort, and tech rather than safety equipment.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Z?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 328 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,635, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Z's resale value?

The current average of $42,779 sits slightly below last year's $43,909.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now if you plan to keep the car for a while. For a future seller, the current softness means resale may not be as strong in the short term as it was a year ago, especially if the car is priced above market.

Even so, the Z’s appeal is tied to its enthusiast identity, and that can help support demand when the car is clean, well-kept, and properly optioned. Cars with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Z safe?

The 2024 Nissan Z hadn’t been crash-tested by IIHS or NHTSA at the time of publication.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Nissan Z models include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and forward collision warning. That gives you a solid standard driver-assistance package for the class.

The main caveat is that there are no published crash-test results for this generation, so you’re relying on standard equipment rather than verified test scores. For a sports car, that means you should pay close attention to the condition and history of any used example you consider.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Z or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Nissan adds more performance for 2024, including the return of the Z NISMO with more power, a stiffer chassis, and upgraded brakes.

Consider the 2023 if:

• It offers the same redesigned Z formula with strong styling and performance at a more value-focused starting point.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger performance story and a current-year shopping pool with decent deal availability, the 2024 is the better target. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable with the earlier version of the same redesign, the 2023 is the smarter price-sensitive path.
