Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview frames it as a family-focused midsize SUV with a spacious cabin, standard seating for eight, easy third-row access, and a smooth ride that suits everyday use. It also brings useful capability, including available all-wheel drive and strong towing capacity, so it fits well if you want a practical three-row SUV with a more rugged look. With 39.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests the Pathfinder’s appeal comes from familiar, proven strengths rather than a major redesign, including a 3.5-liter V6, a nine-speed transmission, and available all-wheel drive. It also emphasizes comfort, space, and everyday usability, which are the kinds of traits many used buyers want in a family SUV. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about novelty and more about making sure the specific used example has been maintained well and still feels tight and well cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report so you can confirm title status, prior damage, and service patterns. Put the inspection focus on the cabin, seating mechanisms, electronics, and overall condition, since this is a family SUV where wear can show up quickly. If you’re comparing multiple listings, prioritize the ones that feel clean, well maintained, and consistent with the mileage shown.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,115 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.69% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,653, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $30,653 sits slightly below last year's $34,709.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, because a lower entry price can help protect your position later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,872, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,653 average.
• It adds a rugged Rock Creek option.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $33,008, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $30,653 average.
• It adds slight updates and a more appealing overall package.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around starting point if you want the current-year balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for the newer model-year updates.
