Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $22,889, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $19,112 average.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2024 is the smarter primary path because it combines lower pricing with strong deal availability and a large pool of clean listings. If you’re willing to spend more for a redesigned model with a more polished overall package, the 2025 is the better secondary path.
