How much does the 2024 Nissan Kicks cost?

Prices have softened 4.37% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,139 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Nissan Kicks a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for a value-focused subcompact SUV. The 2024 Kicks emphasizes affordability, reliability, and straightforward transportation, and it also appeals to shoppers who want a small SUV with a practical footprint and solid fuel economy. Its main limitations are clear: it is small, not especially quick, and it does not offer all-wheel drive in this generation. Still, if you want a simple, efficient daily driver, it fits that brief well. There are 37.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Nissan Kicks reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Kicks was part of the first generation that ran from 2018 to 2024, and by this point it had built a reputation for being a dependable choice with low complaint volume. It was also positioned around affordability and efficiency, which usually matters to buyers who want a low-stress ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about making sure the vehicle has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden wear from daily use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Kicks?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report so you can confirm title status, prior damage, and service patterns. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, especially if you are comparing multiple listings and want to separate cosmetic wear from mechanical issues. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, and interior use, since a value-oriented small SUV can vary a lot from one owner to the next.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Kicks?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,139 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,599, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $18,937 sits slightly below last year's $19,804.

That price movement suggests the model has softened enough to create a more approachable entry point for used buyers. For a future seller, that means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is presented when it hits the market. Because the Kicks is a value-focused model, buyers will likely remain price sensitive, so clean examples should hold up better than rough ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $22,686, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $18,937 average.
• It brings a full redesign with a much better overall package.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2024 is the smarter primary path because it combines a lower average price with strong satisfaction and plenty of listings. If you can stretch for a newer redesign and care more about the upgraded package than the lower purchase price, the 2025 is the secondary path worth considering.
