Used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale near Minnesota

How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 10.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,326 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — 4.8/5 from owners and 8.00/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise the luxurious feel, sporty performance, stylish design, and high-quality features. The GLE also stands out for its comfort and upscale cabin, and the available plug-in hybrid broadens its appeal by balancing performance and efficiency.

The trade-offs are that handling is fairly pedestrian and advanced safety features are not standard. For you, that means the GLE makes the most sense if you want a refined luxury SUV with broad powertrain choice rather than a sharp-handling sport SUV.

With 36.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s enough market activity to keep shopping options interesting.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with drivers highlighting the GLE’s luxurious feel and high-quality features. The expert evaluation also emphasizes that the plug-in hybrid powertrain switches smoothly between electric and gas operation, which supports a polished day-to-day driving experience.

The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that depreciation and maintenance costs can add up quickly, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with expensive options. Focus on overall condition, because luxury features and advanced systems can be costly to sort out after the sale.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is rich with leather and soft-touch materials, and the optional AMG Line package adds a more distinctive, sportier look. Standard 19-inch wheels are included, while 21-inch wheels are available if you want a more aggressive stance.
• Powertrain: You can choose from the GLE 350 with 255 horsepower, the GLE 450 with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, the GLE 580 with a 4.0-liter V8, or the GLE 450e plug-in hybrid. The 450e is the efficiency play, with strong electric range and smooth transitions between power sources.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring is standard, and the Driver Assistance Package Plus adds active blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, and lane-change assist. That package is a meaningful upgrade if you want the most driver support.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch MBUX screen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also supports voice control, and augmented reality navigation is available.
• Fuel efficiency: The 450e is rated at 58 MPGe in hybrid mode and 24 mpg on gasoline alone. The GLE 350 is rated at 23 mpg combined, the GLE 450 at 22 mpg combined, and the GLE 580 at 17 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 5 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450, GLE 580, AMG GLE 53, AMG GLE 63 S.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core GLE experience with the standard luxury cabin and the broad feature set that defines the model. It makes the most sense if you want the lowest-cost path into the lineup.
• GLE 450: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more power and keeps the GLE’s comfort-first character intact. If you want a stronger all-around balance without jumping to the pricier performance models, this is the one to target.
• GLE 580: Choose this if you want the V8 and the most effortless straight-line performance in the standard lineup. It suits you best if power matters more than efficiency.
• AMG GLE 53: This is the first step into the AMG side of the lineup, so it’s the trim to consider if you want a more performance-focused personality.
• AMG GLE 63 S: This is the top performance choice for buyers who want the most aggressive version of the GLE.

Blind-spot monitoring is standard, and the Driver Assistance Package Plus adds active blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, and lane-change assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully without expecting a fire sale.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,326 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.62% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $57,035, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $57,035 sits slightly below last year's $63,808.

That decline suggests the market has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you’re buying now but less favorable if you’re planning to sell soon. For a future seller, the upside is that the biggest early drop has already happened, so a well-kept example may hold value more steadily from here.

Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it’s time to resell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns five-star ratings for side crash and four-star ratings for rollover from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Blind-spot monitoring is standard, and the Driver Assistance Package Plus adds active blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, and lane-change assist. The adaptive cruise control is especially well regarded.

One caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you’ll want to check whether a used example has the package you want. The IIHS also rated the headlight setup tied to the Digital Light package as “Acceptable.”

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 adds a facelift, upgraded infotainment, and a new plug-in hybrid option.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,401, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $57,035 average.
• It offers a polished cabin and strong everyday refinement.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $62,034, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $57,035 average.
• It adds only limited updates and keeps the same core formula.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version with the best mix of features and market availability, the 2024 is the smart default. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you specifically want the newer model year and don’t mind paying more.
