Used 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE cost?

Prices have softened 4.58% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 417 listings available, which gives you a workable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE a good car?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE earns an expert rating of 7.2/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

It is positioned as a premium two-door that replaces both the C-Class and E-Class coupes and convertibles, and it leans into comfort, technology, and refinement. The cabin and design are strong points, and the car is described as comfortable, easy to use, and fun to drive.

The main trade-offs are that it is not as sporty as some rivals and it gives up cargo space. The base powertrain should satisfy most drivers, while the stronger version is the better pick if you want smoother operation and more power.

37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE reliable?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE is presented as a well-rounded luxury coupe with a smooth, quiet base powertrain and a suspension that handles bumps cleanly while staying composed. That combination points to an easygoing ownership experience if you value refinement over hard-edged performance.

The expert review also notes that the systems operated as they should during testing, with no false alarms encountered. The base engine is described as unusually smooth and quiet, and the car’s comfort-focused tuning should help it feel settled in everyday use.

Mercedes also includes a broad set of standard driver-assistance features, which can reduce stress in daily driving. For long-term used-car ownership, the biggest risk is that a premium two-door with lots of technology can become more expensive to keep in top shape than a simpler car.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. A pre-purchase inspection is especially useful on a luxury coupe like this, where electronics, trim condition, and wear on interior surfaces can matter as much as mileage.

Focus on whether the car has the equipment and comfort features you want, since this model is meant to balance style with everyday usability. If you are comparing multiple listings, pay close attention to signs of curb rash, interior wear, and any evidence of prior bodywork.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The CLE is available as either a coupe or Cabriolet, and the AMG CLE 53 variant adds a more aggressive look with a wider stance and wider fender flares. The base version is the most comfort-focused, while the AMG model is the one for buyers who want the racier aesthetic and the actual performance to match.
• Powertrain: The base CLE 300 4Matic uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, while the CLE 450 4Matic upgrades to a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six. The AMG CLE 53 sits at the top with even more output and a driver-actuated overboost function.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, parking proximity sensors, a blind-spot monitor, a semi-automated parking system, automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, cross-traffic collision alert, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, an integrated dashcam, and a low-level automated highway driving system are available.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses an 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. The system also supports voice control, and augmented reality overlays are available in the head-up display and infotainment screen.
• Fuel efficiency: The base powertrain is described as smooth and quiet, but no MPG figure is stated in the available data.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE is offered in 3 trim levels: CLE 300 4Matic, CLE 450 4Matic, AMG CLE 53 Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• CLE 300 4Matic: This is the best-value choice if you want the CLE’s comfort, technology, and refinement without paying for extra power you may not need. It should satisfy most drivers, and it keeps the model’s core luxury-coupe appeal intact.
• CLE 450 4Matic: This is the sweet spot if you want the smoother and stronger engine without jumping all the way to the AMG model. The expert review specifically prefers this version for its added power and smoother operation.
• AMG CLE 53 Coupe: Choose this if you want the most aggressive styling and the strongest performance in the lineup. It is the right pick if you are willing to trade some comfort for a more performance-focused character.

Standard safety equipment is comprehensive, but several advanced driver-assistance features remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should shop with a clear target and be ready to move when the right listing appears.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 417 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.58% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $55,534, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE's resale value?

The current average of $55,534 sits slightly below last year's $58,200.

That price movement suggests the model has softened enough to help you buy in at a more favorable level than a year ago. If you sell later, you may face some depreciation pressure unless demand stays strong for premium two-door models.

The current range also matters for resale planning, because the market has already shown a lower ceiling than last year. If you keep the car in excellent condition and avoid accident history, you should be in a better position when it is time to trade or sell.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE has no crash test results listed from either NHTSA or IIHS in the available data.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, parking proximity sensors, a blind-spot monitor, a semi-automated parking system, automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Available upgrades include adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, cross-traffic collision alert, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, an integrated dashcam, and a low-level automated highway driving system.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.58% compared with last year.
• The 2024 stands out for its strong mix of comfort, technology, and refinement in a fresh replacement for both coupe and convertible body styles.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $63,265, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $55,534 average.
• It adds three distinct trims and a more style-focused, well-equipped open-top appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2024 is the smarter starting point because it already delivers the core CLE formula at a lower average price. If you are willing to spend more for a newer model-year alternative with a broader trim spread, the 2025 is the secondary path to consider.
