Used 2024 Lexus TX for Sale nearIrvine, CA

How much does the 2024 Lexus TX cost?

Prices have softened 6.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 707 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Lexus TX a good car?

The 2024 Lexus TX earns a 7.17/10 expert rating, and it is aimed at the typical three-row luxury SUV buyer who spends most of their time on paved roads.

The standout strength is Form and function at 8/10.

That lines up with the TX’s core appeal: it is a family-focused luxury SUV with multiple powertrain options, a comfortable and quiet cabin, and impressive technology. It is not trying to be a serious off-road SUV, and that focus helps it feel well matched to everyday use.

Trade-offs include the potentially polarizing front styling, the TX 350 engine’s lack of refinement, and aggravating steering-wheel controls.

The market looks reasonably favorable, with 36.2% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Lexus TX reliable?

The 2024 Lexus TX is presented as a new Lexus SUV that gets most things right, with a comfortable and quiet cabin and a setup that suits typical paved-road use.

Its turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine works well enough for normal driving, and the ride and handling are described as just right, with commendable body control and accurate steering. The highway cabin is quiet, which supports the impression of a well-sorted family SUV.

The TX also includes Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, and the overall package is described as smooth, accurate, and effective in operation. Proactive Drive Assist is designed to help maintain following distance and add steering assistance, and Lexus also includes free 10-year Service Connect and Safety Connect subscriptions.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the TX 350’s engine refinement and steering-wheel control quirks may remain everyday annoyances even if the vehicle is otherwise dependable.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus TX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with added equipment. Focus on cabin condition, control usability, and whether the vehicle’s features work the way you expect in daily use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TX 350 is the volume version, and the Luxury trim adds upgraded ambient interior lighting plus premium semi-aniline leather upholstery with artificial suede trim. The base level of specification is simpler, so you should compare equipment carefully if you want a more upscale cabin.
• Powertrain: The TX 350 uses a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. It is described as adequate for typical driving, with a grating engine note and possible torque steer in front-wheel-drive form.
• Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 includes adaptive cruise control with curve speed adjustment, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, intersection assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, road sign assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit assist are also included, while front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, front cross-traffic alert, and traffic jam assist are optional.
• Infotainment: The TX uses a 14-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The optional Technology Package adds a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel, a head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, a surround-view camera, and semi-autonomous parking assist.
• Fuel efficiency: The TX 350 FWD is rated at 23 mpg in combined driving, and testing returned 20.4 mpg. AWD is available for $1,600 and keeps the combined rating at 23 mpg while reducing city and highway figures.

Which 2024 Lexus TX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Lexus TX is offered in 3 trim levels: TX 350, TX 500h F Sport Performance, and TX 550h+.

Here's the short version:

• TX 350: This is the trim to focus on if you want the core TX experience and the likely volume-selling version. It comes with the turbocharged four-cylinder engine and can be had with FWD or AWD, making it the most straightforward choice for shoppers who want the TX’s comfort and quiet without chasing specialty powertrains.
• TX 500h F Sport Performance: This is the performance-tuned hybrid choice, so it is the one to consider if you want the most distinctive powertrain in the lineup. It stands apart from the standard TX 350 by emphasizing a different character rather than just adding luxury features.
• TX 550h+: This plug-in hybrid model is the electrified option in the lineup. It is the right fit if you want the TX with plug-in capability and are willing to shop the more advanced powertrain path.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard, and the available traffic jam assist system is part of the broader safety and driver-assistance story.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus TX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 707 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $52,344, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus TX's resale value?

The current average of $52,344 sits slightly below last year's $56,182.

That price movement suggests the TX has already given back some value from its earlier level, which can help you as a buyer today. If you plan to sell later, the softer pricing means your resale outcome will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and equipment.

For a future seller, the good news is that the TX is still positioned as a desirable three-row luxury SUV with strong everyday appeal. The challenge is that current market pricing shows buyers have become a bit more selective, so a clean, well-equipped example should matter more than ever when it is time to trade or sell.

Is the 2024 Lexus TX safe?

The 2024 Lexus TX earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 includes adaptive cruise control with curve speed adjustment, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, intersection assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, road sign assist, and automatic high-beam headlights.

Proactive Drive Assist is also part of the suite, and it can help maintain following distance and add steering assistance to avoid obstacles. The TX also includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit assist, with front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, front cross-traffic alert, and traffic jam assist available as options.

The system is generally smooth, accurate, and effective, though it can brake too aggressively when other drivers cut into the gap ahead of the TX.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus TX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.83% compared with last year.
• The 2024 TX is the year that established this model as a credible three-row Lexus SUV for paved-road family use.

The bottom line: If you want the TX’s core formula now, the 2024 model is the one to target because it combines a softened price trend, strong inventory quality, and the model’s defining strengths in comfort, quietness, and technology. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep shopping for the best-equipped example in the 2024 pool rather than moving up in trim too quickly.
