That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help you if you're buying now and later decide to sell. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain a clean history, you should be in a better position to preserve value.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus RZ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,267, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $34,406 average.
• The 2023 is Lexus’s first dedicated battery-electric model with standard all-wheel drive.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the current-year market with steady pricing and a decent share of attractive deals. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play, especially if you find one with a clean history and the features you want.
