Should I buy a 2024 Lexus RZ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 41.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.27% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,368, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $34,277 average.
• It introduced Lexus’s first dedicated battery-electric SUV.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the stronger current-market balance of pricing and inventory. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value-oriented path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
