Is the 2024 Lexus NX reliable?

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus NX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or neglected maintenance. Because many desirable features are bundled into option packs, it also helps to confirm the exact equipment on the specific vehicle you’re considering. Pay close attention to overall condition, since a clean-looking premium SUV can still hide expensive issues if it has been poorly maintained.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the current NX formula at a softer price point, especially if you value the model’s premium feel, reliability reputation, and broad powertrain range. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 is the stronger starting point when you want a balanced mix of value and market availability.
