Is the 2024 Lexus NX a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating points to a well-liked compact luxury SUV, and the 2024 Lexus NX backs that up with a distinctive design, a premium feel, and a broad range of powertrain choices. The overview also makes clear that you get a polished, upscale experience with strong reliability appeal, even if the NX is not the most rewarding drive in the segment or the most practical one. If you want a luxury SUV that emphasizes refinement, efficiency options, and a familiar ownership formula, this model year fits that brief well. 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview highlights a strong reputation for reliability, and that matters if you plan to keep the vehicle for years rather than just a short ownership cycle. For used buyers, that usually means lower anxiety about long-term ownership risk, especially if the vehicle has been maintained well and has a clean history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus NX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the vehicle’s condition matches the listing. Pay close attention to signs of prior damage, uneven wear, and any evidence that optional equipment or electronics are not functioning as expected. Because many desirable features can be bundled into option packs, it also helps to confirm the exact equipment on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus NX?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market, with meaningful deal availability and a healthy number of listings to compare.

• Deal availability: 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,892 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,739, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $39,853 sits slightly below last year's $41,092.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited than in a rising market. If you plan to sell later, the NX’s broad appeal, premium positioning, and strong reliability reputation should help support demand. Still, the softer pricing trend means your best resale outcome will likely come from buying well and keeping the vehicle in excellent condition.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the NX’s current-generation design, strong reliability reputation, and a market that still offers decent deal availability. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 is the better primary target when you want the latest version of this formula without paying a premium for a newer year.
