What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus NX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report to confirm the car’s background and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price is near the top of the range. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and whether the vehicle has the equipment you want, since many desirable items are tied to option packages. If you are considering a hybrid or plug-in hybrid, make sure the charging and efficiency-related systems are working as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,894 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,495, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $39,495 sits slightly below last year's $40,554.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited than they were a year ago. Even so, the NX’s premium positioning and strong reputation for reliability should help it stay attractive to used shoppers. If you keep the vehicle in good condition and choose a desirable configuration, you should have a better chance of holding value over time.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.61% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 Lexus NX makes the most sense if you want a premium compact SUV with strong reliability, a broad powertrain lineup, and a market that still offers some negotiating room. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 remains a strong choice when you want a newer NX with a softer used-car price trend.
