Is the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover a good car?

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover stands out as a luxury SUV that still leans on the brand’s long-standing promise of go-anywhere capability. It offers a richly appointed cabin, unusual flexibility with standard and long-wheelbase body styles, and seating for four, five, or seven, which makes it especially appealing if you want a high-end SUV that can be configured around your needs.

It also brings strong powertrain choices and a long list of comfort and driver-assistance features, so you get both presence and substance. For buyers who want a lavish SUV with serious capability, it is one of the more distinctive options in its class. The market shows 37.1% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover reliable?

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover is still very much a high-end, high-cost ownership proposition. Its reputation for complexity and expensive maintenance remains part of the package, even alongside its luxury, capability, and strong feature content.

That means long-term ownership risk is higher than what you’d expect from a simpler used SUV, especially if you plan to keep it for many years.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Land Rover Range Rover?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify service records before you commit. Put inspection priority on condition, maintenance consistency, and any signs of expensive wear, because this is a complex luxury SUV where small issues can become costly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Land Rover Range Rover?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, but the best listings still deserve quick attention.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,708 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $98,360, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $98,360 sits slightly below last year's $115,403.

That price movement suggests the used market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If you keep the SUV clean, documented, and well cared for, you’ll be in a better position to protect value when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.77% compared with last year.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $112,679, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $98,360 average.
• It keeps the same core luxury-and-capability formula with only minor option reshuffling.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the stronger value proposition and more room to negotiate. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year and prefer to stay closer to the latest version, the 2025 is the secondary path.
