Used 2024 Kia Telluride for Sale near Oregon

How much does the 2024 Kia Telluride cost?

Prices have softened 10.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,264 listings available, which suggests solid inventory availability for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Kia Telluride earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

You get a strong mix of family-friendly space, smooth ride quality, and impressive tech features, and the design is described as stylish and rugged. It also fits well if you want a three-row SUV that feels especially complete for family life and long-distance use. The main trade-offs are the lack of a hybrid option and some cheap interior materials, plus an irritating lane-keeping system.

With 37.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a smooth ride, roomy interior, impressive tech features, comfortable seating, and strong design, all of which point to a vehicle that owners feel good about living with over time. The expert evaluation also describes it as a vehicle worth buying, with a refined driving experience and strong overall appeal. Kia’s long warranty coverage adds another layer of confidence for used buyers.

For used shoppers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the fuel economy and some interior-material quality may be less satisfying than the rest of the package.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia Telluride?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the condition of the interior materials, the lane-keeping behavior, and any signs of heavy family use. It also makes sense to confirm that the tech and driver-assistance features work as expected, since this model leans heavily on them.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LX, S, EX, SX, and SX Prestige are the core trims, and the X-Line package adds standard AWD, a center locking differential, more ground clearance, unique styling, and roof rails on all but the LX and S. The X-Pro package adds 18-inch matte-black wheels with all-terrain tires and heavy-duty engine cooling, and it is reserved for the top two trims.
• Powertrain: The Telluride uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive. AWD versions include a locking center differential and a Snow mode, while X-Line and X-Pro versions raise ground clearance to 8.4 inches.
• Safety package: Kia Drive Wise is standard and includes collision-avoidance tech, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear occupant protection, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist. Higher trims add front parking sensors, cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist, automatic rear braking, and available Blind-Spot View Monitor.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen, but Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable connection. Over-the-air updates are available through Kia Connect plans, and higher-tech features include wireless charging, a digital key, a camera-based rearview mirror, and an available 10-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD versions are rated at 20 mpg in combined driving, and real-world testing returned 19 mpg on a mountainous loop and 17.5 mpg over a week of city driving.

Which 2024 Kia Telluride trim should I buy?

The 2024 Kia Telluride is offered in 5 trim levels: LX, S, EX, SX, and SX Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the best-value starting point because it already gives you the essentials of a midsize three-row SUV, and the cost-effectiveness case is especially strong here.
• S: Choose this if you want a step up in equipment without jumping too far in price, while still staying close to the Telluride’s core family-friendly formula.
• EX: This is the trim to target if you want a more polished balance of comfort, features, and value.
• SX: This is the better pick if you want a richer feature set and are willing to pay for more upscale equipment.
• SX Prestige: This is the most luxurious choice, with premium materials and the most upscale cabin feel; it suits you best if you want the Telluride closest to a near-premium SUV.

The X-Line package is available on all but the LX and S, while the X-Pro package is reserved for the top two trims.

If you find a listing below $35,973, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $35,973 sits slightly below last year's $40,242.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favorable point, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market holds up from here. If prices stabilize, a well-kept Telluride should remain appealing because it still has broad family-sUV demand and strong feature content. If depreciation continues, sellers may need to price more aggressively to stand out.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Kia Telluride safe?

The 2024 Telluride earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Kia Drive Wise is standard, and it includes collision-avoidance tech, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear occupant protection, and Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist. Higher trims add front parking sensors, cross-traffic alert, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist, automatic rear braking, and an available Blind-Spot View Monitor. The expert testing also notes that Highway Driving Assist 2.0 works best in easier traffic conditions, while the lane-keeping system without Highway Driving Assist can feel intrusive.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 keeps the Telluride’s familiar appeal with minor detail updates and strong overall value.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $32,233, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $35,973 average.
• It adds minor styling changes, new technologies, and new X-Line and X-Pro trims.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $36,019, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $35,973 average.
• It remains a stylish, capable family SUV with strong long-distance comfort.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, safety, and family-friendly usefulness, the 2024 is the sweet spot. If price matters most, the 2023 is the better bargain. If you want the newest nearby option and are comfortable paying a bit more, the 2025 is still a strong choice.
