What is the 2024 Kia Niro EV's resale value?

The current average of $22,442 sits slightly below last year's $24,329.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market holds up from here. If prices continue to stabilize, a well-kept example should remain easier to move than one with visible wear or a weak history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Niro EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,517, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,442 average.
• It offers a redesigned, practical EV with broad availability and strong everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model year with a favorable market and strong owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the smarter secondary path and still gives you a practical, easy-to-shop EV.
