Is the 2024 Kia EV6 a good car?

The 2024 Kia EV6 is a strong fit if you want a stylish, tech-forward electric crossover with a driver-focused cockpit and a sporty feel. Its user rating is 3.8/5, and the overview points to a premium-feeling cabin, fast charging, available all-wheel drive, and a long list of standard safety features.

You should also weigh the tradeoffs: the range is described as unimpressive, cargo space is limited, and some safety features can be aggravating. Even so, it remains appealing if you value distinctive styling, quick charging, and a well-equipped EV experience. 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Kia EV6 reliable?

The 2024 Kia EV6 is described as a well-equipped electric crossover with standard battery pre-conditioning, available all-wheel drive, and a broad set of safety features. Its platform and fast-charging capability are part of what makes it feel modern and thoughtfully engineered.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright complexity and more about whether the vehicle has been maintained and used in a way that preserves its range, charging performance, and overall condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia EV6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you plan to keep the car long term. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and signs of wear that could affect an EV’s day-to-day usability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia EV6?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find decent value.

If you find a listing below $26,921, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia EV6's resale value?

The current average of $27,559 sits slightly below last year's $29,760.

That price movement suggests the EV6 has softened enough to help you buy more selectively today. If you sell later, the current market level gives you a realistic baseline for what similar used examples are bringing now. The softer trend also means your eventual resale outcome will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the vehicle has been kept.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia EV6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.40% compared with last year.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds a facelift, revised interior, more battery capacity, and updated infotainment.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better value play if you want a distinctive EV6 at a softer price and can live with its older setup. If you want the newer design and updates, the 2025 is the cleaner upgrade path, but price-sensitive buyers should keep the 2024 on the shortlist.
