Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L a good car?

The 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L sits in a favorable market, and the model’s luxury-focused positioning carries over from the prior year’s strong full-size SUV appeal. What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or inconsistent repairs. Focus on overall condition, since a large luxury SUV can hide expensive issues if you skip a thorough pre-purchase inspection.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L?

If you find a listing below $47,760, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L's resale value?

The current average of $47,760 sits slightly below last year's $66,368.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to sell later, your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and mileage while ownership costs remain tied to a premium full-size SUV segment. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers looking for luxury space, but the current trend shows you should not expect the same pricing strength seen a year ago.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.04% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,816, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $47,760 average.
• The 2023 offers a richly appointed cabin with strong luxury appeal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if your priority is value, because the current average price is lower and the market shows a healthy share of deal-priced listings. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2023 can still make sense when you find the right example, but you’ll want to justify the higher average asking price with condition, equipment, and overall value.
