How much does the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 9.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,528 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee stands out because it pairs capability with a more premium feel than many mainstream SUVs, and it keeps that long-running Jeep identity centered on off-road ability without giving up everyday comfort. Its broad trim range also makes it appealing whether you want a more affordable version or a more luxurious one. With 37.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s appeal comes from its established formula: capability, premium touches, and a wide range of configurations. That combination can make it a reassuring choice if you want an SUV that feels upscale while still staying true to Jeep’s rugged character. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been maintained well and matches the equipment level you expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report so you can confirm the vehicle’s background and spot any hidden issues. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim model with more equipment or a more complex setup. Focus your condition check on the features and systems that matter most to you, since the Grand Cherokee’s trim spread means equipment can vary a lot from one listing to another.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This is a moderate market, so selective buyers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,528 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.24% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,090, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $32,090 sits slightly below last year's $35,358.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you more negotiating room today, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the vehicle holds its appeal after purchase. If you buy at a favorable price now, you may be better positioned to absorb normal depreciation later. Trim choice and condition will matter, especially because the model spans everything from basic versions to more premium builds.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the Grand Cherokee’s mix of capability, premium feel, and broad trim variety, especially now that prices have eased. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2024 gives you a strong balance of market value and buyer appeal.
