It makes 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, and it sends the power to the rear or all four wheels (RWD or 4WD) through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Two 4WD systems are available, with top trims adding a height-adjustable air suspension system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, along with HD radio, Amazon Alexa functionality, six speakers, and Bluetooth. ## Safety The Grand Cherokee earned a Top Safety Pick+ award in 2023, which included “Good” scores in most categories. It comes standard with adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warnings, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warnings, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, parking sensors, and more. Top trims add a night-vision system, rain-sensing wipers, off-road cameras, and an advanced intersection-assist system. ## Pricing The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee starts at $36,495, not including the $1,795 destination charge. Stepping up to the Laredo trim brings the price before destination to $40,130, and the Laredo X adds $750 to that amount. The midrange Altitude models start at $44,140, while the range-topping Summit Reserve model crests the $70,000 mark.
