Used 2024 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearAsheville, NC

How much does the 2024 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 9.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,332 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Jeep Gladiator earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The Gladiator stands out because you can remove the roof and doors, and it is built with Jeep’s off-road reputation in mind. It also brings real utility, with some versions offering substantial towing and payload capacity, so it can work as more than a weekend toy.

The trade-offs are clear: fuel economy is poor, and the ride can be rough and noisy at speed. It is best if you want a truck with a distinct personality and off-pavement ability rather than a conventional midsize pickup experience.

37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Gladiator’s appeal comes from its rugged design, open-air setup, and Jeep-focused capability, but it also asks you to accept a truck that is built more for character than refinement. The expert review also notes that it is designed to be easy to clean, which fits its adventurous mission.

Its performance-oriented off-road setup and updated infotainment help it feel more modern, while the available comfort and convenience upgrades improve day-to-day livability. If you buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is that the same traits that make it special can also mean more compromise in ride comfort, noise, and efficiency.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has been used off-road or modified. Focus on body condition, underbody wear, and signs of hard use, since this model is often bought for adventure as much as commuting.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup starts with Sport, Willys, Mojave, and Rubicon, with Sport S plus the new-for-2024 Mojave X and Rubicon X above them. Base versions are simpler, while higher trims add more comfort and convenience, and the Mojave X and Rubicon X bring 12-way power-adjustable front seats and premium leather upholstery.
• Powertrain: The 2024 Gladiator continues with a 3.6-liter V6 making 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic. Depending on configuration, it can tow up to 7,700 pounds and haul up to 1,725 pounds of payload.
• Safety package: Starting with the Sport S, forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard. The Mojave X and Rubicon X add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors, so lower trims miss some of the more helpful driver-assistance features.
• Infotainment: The 2024 model gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and over-the-air software updates. It also includes Bluetooth pairing for two smartphones, Amazon Alexa compatibility, SiriusXM 360L, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA numbers suggest 19 mpg in combined driving, and testing returned 16.7 mpg over more than 175 miles.

Which 2024 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 7 trim levels: Sport, Willys, Mojave, Rubicon, Sport S, Mojave X, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Gladiator experience at the lowest price and do not need the extra equipment found higher up the range.
• Sport S: This is the best-value trim because it adds forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability, which meaningfully improves everyday usability.
• Willys: Choose this if you want a more trail-focused setup than the base truck without jumping all the way to the more expensive specialty trims.
• Mojave: This is the desert-running trim, with a one-inch front suspension lift, FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks, a Tru-Lok locking rear differential, and other off-road hardware.
• Rubicon: Pick this if you want the most traditional Jeep off-road character in the lineup.
• Mojave X: This adds more luxury and convenience on top of the Mojave formula, including 12-way power-adjustable front seats and premium leather upholstery.
• Rubicon X: This is the most upscale off-road-oriented choice, and it also adds the same comfort upgrades as the Mojave X.

Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors are standard on the Mojave X and Rubicon X, but not on lower trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,332 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,848, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $36,848 sits slightly below last year's $40,865.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key question is whether the Gladiator’s unique appeal can offset its softer pricing trend.

Its distinct open-air design and strong enthusiast following should help it remain desirable compared with more conventional midsize trucks. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The Jeep Gladiator earns a three-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA, and IIHS is unimpressed with its headlights, seatbelt warnings, and pedestrian detection and protection systems.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Starting with the Sport S model, forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard. The Mojave X and Rubicon X add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors.

Jeep also says the 2024 model has structural improvements for side-impact protection, and the standard roll cage now includes front and rear side-curtain airbags. Even so, the rollover rating and the limited standard safety equipment mean you should be especially careful about trim choice and driver-assistance coverage.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 update brings a new 12.3-inch touchscreen, Uconnect 5, and added comfort and convenience features.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,086, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,848 average.
• It blends Wrangler character with open-pickup utility and offers an optional EcoDiesel for better combined efficiency.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $39,578, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,848 average.
• It adds special-edition models, loses the manual transmission, and makes the base Sport more practical.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the updated infotainment, improved interior, and current-market pricing. If your priority is lower purchase cost, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want the newest changes and do not mind paying more, the 2025 is the next step up.

How does the 2024 Jeep Gladiator compare to the 2024 Ford Bronco?

Expert Pros & Cons (per CarGurus review team)

2024 Jeep Gladiator:

• Pros: Doors off, roof off, open-air fun, Impressive off-roading capability, Commendable towing/hauling.
• Cons: Poor fuel economy, Few standard safety features, Questionable value for the money.

2024 Ford Bronco:

• Pros: Fun to drive, Comfortable, Plenty of cargo space.
• Cons: Poor fuel economy, No hybrid or plug-in hybrid option, Needs a cloth seat option.

Our experts score the 2024 Jeep Gladiator 7.3/10 and the 2024 Ford Bronco 6.8/10. The Gladiator is the more distinctive choice if you want removable doors and roof plus stronger towing and hauling. The Bronco counters with a more comfortable feel and more cargo space, but it does not match the Gladiator’s truck utility. Both have poor fuel economy, so your decision comes down to whether you value open-air pickup character or SUV-style comfort more.
