Used 2024 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2024 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 4.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,647 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, spaciousness, and user-friendly features, and they also like its attractive pricing compared with other trucks. The Ridgeline’s easygoing daily-driver character and practical layout fit well if you want midsize-truck usefulness without the usual compromises. On the downside, the climate control system and CarPlay experience drew some criticism, and the expert review notes limited towing capacity and limited off-road capability.

With 37.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels comfortable, spacious, and user-friendly over time, while also describing it as attractive value for the money. The expert review adds that the powertrain is tried-and-true and that the truck is easy to live with day to day, which supports the case for dependable ownership. Honda also includes complimentary scheduled maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that age-related wear may show up in the truck’s aging tech and its less robust capability limits.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Ridgeline?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free status does not replace a proper inspection. Pay close attention to how the truck drives, how the cabin electronics behave, and whether the vehicle shows signs of hard use. Since this model is valued for comfort and practicality, condition matters a lot if you want it to feel like the easygoing daily driver it is meant to be.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Four versions are available: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition. The Sport gets the new 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and a 7-inch digital display, while the RTL adds a brown leather color option. The TrailSport adds an off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, and underbody protection, and the Black Edition adds HD Radio, extra USB ports, and an eight-speaker premium sound system.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic and torque-vectoring AWD. The setup is smooth and responsive on the road, but towing capacity is limited to 5,000 pounds and off-road ability is still modest.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist with road departure mitigation, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on the Sport this year, after previously requiring an upgrade.
• Infotainment: Every Ridgeline gets a 9-inch touchscreen with a volume knob, tuning buttons, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and a 7-inch digital display in the gauge cluster. The system also gets a faster processor and updated navigation graphics and menus.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert review cites an average fuel economy result of 19.4 mpg in testing and an official EPA rating of 20 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2024 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the best-value starting point because it already gets the updated 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone features, wireless charging, and the standard safety upgrades, including blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
• RTL: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and the available brown leather color option without moving all the way up the range.
• TrailSport: This is the trim to pick if you want the most rugged-looking Ridgeline, with an off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, and underbody protection.
• Black Edition: This is the most feature-rich version, adding HD Radio, extra USB ports, and an eight-speaker premium sound system for shoppers who want the most equipment.

The safety package is strongest on the Sport this year because it now includes blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right truck.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,647 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,260, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $34,635 sits slightly below last year's $36,354.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favorable point, but it also suggests the truck has already absorbed some depreciation. If you plan to sell later, the current market gives you a decent entry price, which can help protect your ownership costs. The Ridgeline’s practical appeal and broad usefulness should continue to support demand among shoppers who want comfort and utility in one package.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline earns an Acceptable score instead of Good in the IIHS small overlap frontal-impact test, and the IIHS rates its headlights as Marginal.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist with road departure mitigation, lane-centering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard on the Sport this year. The system works well enough overall, but the expert review notes some false lane-departure warnings and occasional steering-wheel wobble, and Road Departure Mitigation can brake abruptly in some situations.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new TrailSport trim, updated tech, and a more truck-like interior and tailgate.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,569, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $34,635 average.
• It emphasizes practicality and daily-driver comfort.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $36,379, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $34,635 average.
• It carries over the comfort-focused, easy-to-live-with formula.

The bottom line: If you want the most appealing version of this truck’s formula, the 2024 is the one to target because it adds meaningful updates without changing the Ridgeline’s core strengths. If price matters most, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you find a cleaner or better-equipped example at a price you like.
