Used 2024 Honda Prologue for Sale nearCincinnati, OH

How much does the 2024 Honda Prologue cost?

Prices have softened 6.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 522 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare across trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Honda Prologue a good car?

The 2024 Honda Prologue earns an expert rating of 7.83/10.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It is positioned as Honda’s first stateside EV and first fully electric SUV, and the overall approach is deliberately familiar rather than experimental. That makes it appealing if you want an EV that feels comfortable, attractive, and easy to live with. The trade-offs are that some favorite features are not standard and every trim comes with large wheels.

The Prologue’s market availability is healthy, with 43.9% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Honda Prologue reliable?

The Prologue is presented as a mainstream, user-friendly EV rather than a cutting-edge experiment, and Honda’s own positioning emphasizes comfort, usability, and a familiar driving experience. The expert evaluation also highlights strong range for the base setup and a driving feel that stays approachable, especially if you are new to EVs.

Its performance setup is straightforward: you get a single-motor front-wheel-drive version or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version, and the base configuration is the most efficient. Honda also includes Google Built-In, route planning for EV charging, and battery preconditioning support, which should help make day-to-day ownership easier.

Honda also includes a choice of charging packages with new purchases, which can help reduce early ownership friction if you need home charging support or public-charging credits.

For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is making sure the battery, charging equipment, and software-related features have been used and maintained as expected, since those are the parts of EV ownership that matter most over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Prologue?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are comparing multiple trims or higher-mileage examples. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX is the most basic version, with cloth seating surfaces and fewer upscale touches than the higher trims. Touring and Elite add leather, and the Elite gets the most premium interior treatment, including an exclusive brown-and-black cabin theme and a card-format key.
• Powertrain: The Prologue is offered with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The single-motor setup makes 212 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, while the dual-motor setup makes 288 hp and 333 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard, along with automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic braking, and blind-zone steering assist. Front-park assist is not available on the EX, and the surround-vision system and rear pedestrian alert are Elite-only.
• Infotainment: You get an 11.3-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google Built-In, and a standard wireless charger. The Elite also adds a head-up display.
• Range & charging: The front-wheel-drive setup is rated at 296 miles of range, while the all-wheel-drive version is rated at 281 miles on 19-inch wheels and 273 miles on 21-inch wheels. Honda also offers charging-package choices with new purchases.
• Battery health: As with any used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm normal charging behavior at home and on DC fast charging, and review how much of the battery warranty remains.

Which 2024 Honda Prologue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda Prologue is offered in 3 trim levels: EX, Touring, and Elite.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the value-oriented starting point, and it gives you the core Prologue experience with the most efficient front-wheel-drive setup available. It is the trim to focus on if you want the lowest entry price and can live without some of the nicer comfort and convenience upgrades.
• Touring: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more upscale equipment without jumping all the way to the top model. It also gets the 12-speaker Bose premium audio system and leather seating surfaces, making it the sweet spot if you want a more polished cabin.
• Elite: This is the most fully equipped version, with standard all-wheel drive, the largest wheels, the card-format key, the head-up display, and exclusive interior touches. It makes sense if you want the most premium Prologue experience and do not mind paying for it.

Honda’s safety package is standard across the lineup, but front-park assist is not available on the EX, while the surround-vision system and rear pedestrian alert are Elite-only.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Prologue?

The market looks favorable for shoppers right now, with solid deal availability and a meaningful price drop versus last year.

• Deal availability: 43.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 522 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,985, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Prologue's resale value?

The current average of $26,966 sits slightly below last year's $28,856.

That price movement suggests the Prologue has already moved into a more buyer-friendly part of its depreciation curve. If you buy used now, you are entering at a lower average price than early shoppers saw a year ago, which can help limit your upfront cost.

For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, trim, and equipment. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than bare-bones or heavily used ones.

Is the 2024 Honda Prologue safe?

The Prologue is too new to have been rated by IIHS or NHTSA as of this writing, but Honda says it is targeting Top Safety Pick+ and five-star overall ratings.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard, and the suite includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic braking, and blind-zone steering assist. Front-park assist is not available on the EX, while the surround-vision system and rear pedestrian alert are reserved for the Elite.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Prologue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 43.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.55% compared with last year.
• The 2024 stands out as Honda’s first stateside EV and first fully electric SUV, with a familiar, approachable character and strong expert praise for performance.

The bottom line: If you want the most straightforward path into a used Prologue, the 2024 model is the one to target because it combines strong market availability with a lower average price than a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep watching for listings near the low end of the range, since those are the ones most likely to deliver the best value.
