How much does the 2024 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 1.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,570 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V a good car?

The 2024 Honda CR-V is a well-rounded choice if you want practicality, safety, and efficiency over flash, and its user rating is 3.75/5. The cabin is roomy, with 41 inches of rear legroom and 39.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, and it expands to 76.5 cubic feet with the seats folded. It also fits buyers who want an easy-to-live-with family vehicle that stays manageable in daily use, even if it is not especially distinctive or sporty.

Its appeal is strongest if you value a polished, mainstream compact crossover with a simple learning curve and a long list of standard safety tech. The market also shows 38.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V reliable?

The 2024 Honda CR-V emphasizes strong reliability, good economy, and a practical, easy-to-use design. It pairs that with a roomy interior and a straightforward infotainment setup, which makes it appealing if you want a vehicle that should be simple to live with day to day.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a careful inspection of the body, interior, and any signs of prior repair. Because the CR-V’s appeal depends heavily on condition and everyday usability, pay close attention to how cleanly the vehicle has been maintained and whether everything works as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,570 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.42% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,732, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $30,609 sits slightly below last year's $31,051.

That price movement suggests the CR-V has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may trim upside if you plan to resell soon. Even so, the model’s practical reputation and broad appeal should help it remain relatively easy to move compared with less mainstream crossovers. If you buy well and keep mileage and condition in check, you should still have a solid resale story later.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.42% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $28,989, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,609 average.
• It adds improved infotainment and safety equipment.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a broad pool of listings to shop from. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play because it costs less while still delivering the roomy, comfort-focused CR-V formula.
