How much does the 2024 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 1.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,647 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V a good car?

With a user rating of 3.75/5, the 2024 Honda CR-V looks like a practical, well-rounded choice if you value space, efficiency, and everyday usability over excitement. The cabin is roomy, with 41 inches of rear legroom and 39.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, and it expands to 76.5 cubic feet with the seats folded. It also leans into simplicity, which can be a plus if you want a crossover that is easy to live with and straightforward to operate.

The CR-V’s appeal is strongest if you want a compact crossover that prioritizes family-friendly packaging and a polished, mainstream feel. The market also shows 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V reliable?

The 2024 Honda CR-V is presented as a strong reliability play, with an emphasis on practicality, safety, and efficiency. It also comes with a generous list of standard safety equipment, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and traffic jam assist.

For used buyers, that combination points to a model that should be relatively reassuring to own long term, especially if you choose a well-maintained example and keep up with routine service.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm that the listing matches the vehicle’s condition and equipment. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, cargo area, and any signs of wear that could matter in a family-use crossover. Focus on overall condition first, since that is where a practical model like this can vary most from one used example to another.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda CR-V?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,647 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.48% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,731, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $30,493 sits slightly below last year's $30,952.

That modest decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy with less pressure today. For a future seller, it also means the CR-V is holding value reasonably well rather than dropping sharply. If you keep the vehicle in clean condition and maintain it well, you should be in a better position to protect resale value later.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.48% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $28,880, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,493 average.
• It adds improved infotainment and safety equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year pricing context and a broad pool of listings, the 2024 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the smarter secondary path because it undercuts the current year’s average while still delivering the CR-V’s core strengths.
