Why it stands out
The 2024 Honda Accord stands out for blending the Accord’s long-running strengths with a more modern, safety-focused setup. It comes from the generation described as refreshed and rejuvenated rather than radically reinvented, and Honda kept the exterior update conservative while giving the cabin a more refined feel with stylish metal dashboard trim and a touchscreen infotainment system. Standard Bluetooth connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto add everyday convenience, and Honda still includes physical buttons for radio and dual-zone climate controls, which should appeal to buyers who prefer straightforward operation.
Safety equipment is a major part of the 2024 Honda Accord’s appeal. Honda Sensing is standard, bringing adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, road-departure mitigation, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and lane-centering assist. The car also includes a reverse camera with three different views, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic-sign recognition, and a driver-monitoring system. Rear seat vents are standard as well, reinforcing the Accord’s family-car mission.
The 2024 Honda Accord also offers a broad range of powertrain choices. Most Accord models come standard with Honda’s hybrid system, while the base LX and step-up EX trims use a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a CVT. Pricing starts at $29,590 for the LX trim and $31,590 for the SE trim, with Accord Hybrid pricing starting at just below $34,000. As a result, the 2024 Accord remains appealing to buyers who want a practical sedan with strong technology and a long reputation for reliability, even if its styling is intentionally conservative.

My 2024 Honda Accord is a solid car that is reliable, efficient, comfortable, affordable, and easy to maintain. It has desirable features like blind spot detection, a moon roof, numerous air bags, heated seats, great gas mileage and various safety features. Plus it is a good looking sedan. This is my third Accord and I am very pleased with it. Please note our son is still driving my 2002 Accord with no major issues. If you are looking for a car that will be reliable, affordable, comfortable and last a long time the Honda Accord is a great choice.

How much does the 2024 Honda Accord cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $25,266 |
| Year-Round Low | $24,651 |
| Year-Round High | $26,198 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $26,197 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −3.56% |
Prices have softened 3.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 4,676 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used-car shoppers.
Is the 2024 Honda Accord a good car?
Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Honda Accord. The overview points to a sedan that blends long-running Accord strengths with a more modern, safety-focused setup, plus a refined cabin, standard Bluetooth connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and straightforward physical controls for key functions. That makes it a practical fit if you want a family sedan that emphasizes everyday usability and easy operation. Deal availability remains decent, with 35.8% of listings marked as good or great deals.
Is the 2024 Honda Accord reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The overview also emphasizes the Accord’s long reputation for reliability and its practical, safety-focused design. For used buyers, that combination points to lower ownership anxiety if you choose a well-kept example and stay on top of routine maintenance.
What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Accord?
Accident-free inventory is solid at 87% — always verify the vehicle history report.
You should still review the vehicle history report carefully and confirm there are no gaps in maintenance or signs of prior damage. Put inspection priority on the cabin electronics, safety systems, and overall condition, since those are central to the car’s appeal. Focus on how well the car has been maintained, because a clean history and consistent upkeep matter most in a used sedan like this.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Accord?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting deep discounts everywhere.
- Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 4,676 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 3.56% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 87.0% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $24,651, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Honda Accord's resale value?
The current average of $25,266 sits slightly below last year's $26,197.
That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim appeal than on broad market appreciation. If you keep the car clean, documented, and accident-free, you improve your odds of holding value better than average. Strong demand for practical sedans can still support resale, especially when the car has a good reputation and a clean history.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2024 Honda Accord or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is solid at 87% — always verify the vehicle history report.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 3.56% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2023 if:
- At $24,402, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $25,266 average.
- It offers a redesigned, polished, and practical family-sedan formula.
The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, deal availability, and a well-equipped cabin, the 2024 is the better primary choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
