Used 2024 Genesis GV70 for Sale nearCharlotte, NC

How much does the 2024 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 8.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,402 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Genesis GV70 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Its appeal starts with stylish design and continues with impressive technology, and it offers multiple powertrain options, including an all-electric powertrain option. That makes it a strong fit if you want a fresh-feeling luxury crossover with a broader range of choices than many rivals.

The trade-offs are that its ergonomic design is poor, and its ride and handling are merely adequate. Even so, the GV70 still makes a compelling case if you value style and tech over outright dynamic polish.

41.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GV70’s reliability case is helped by its fresh design and broad equipment story, along with Genesis’ generous warranty coverage. The powertrain lineup is straightforward, and the electric version adds another option without changing the model’s core character.

The performance notes also point to a competent setup rather than a fragile one, with the gasoline and electrified versions both described as capable and well matched to their roles. Genesis’ warranty coverage adds another layer of reassurance for used buyers.

If you’re shopping used, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about choosing the right configuration for your needs and budget.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple trims or powertrains. Focus on overall condition, wheel and tire wear, and whether the equipment level matches the asking price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base gasoline model starts with 19-inch wheels, while higher grades add larger wheels and more upscale cabin touches. The interior is distinctive, but the base setup is still the one most likely to leave you wanting more equipment.
• Powertrain: The gasoline GV70 comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while the available 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 makes 375 hp and 391 lb-ft. The Electrified GV70 uses front and rear electric motors for 429 hp and 516 lb-ft, with a 483 hp Boost Mode.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, parking assist sensors, and Highway Driving Assist. Highway Driving Assist 2 adds automated lane-change capability and blind-spot monitoring.
• Infotainment: All GV70 models come with a 14.5-inch touchscreen and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Lower trims get an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, while higher grades get a 12.3-inch unit; a 12-inch head-up display is also available.
• Fuel efficiency: The base turbo-four with 19-inch wheels is rated at 24 mpg combined (22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway). With 21-inch wheels, it drops to 22 mpg combined (19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway). The twin-turbo V6 is rated at 20 mpg combined (18 mpg city, 25 mpg highway). The Electrified GV70 is rated at 236 miles of range.

Which 2024 Genesis GV70 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Genesis GV70 is offered in 7 trim levels: 2.5T Standard, 2.5T Select, 2.5T Advanced, 2.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T Sport, 3.5T Sport Advanced, and 3.5T Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5T Standard: This is the entry point if you want the GV70’s style, standard all-wheel drive, and core tech without stretching the budget. It’s the trim to start with if you care most about value and can live without the richer features found higher up.
• 2.5T Select: This is the first step up if you want a better-equipped version of the base model without jumping into the pricier luxury-focused trims. It should suit you if you want a more balanced mix of price and equipment.
• 2.5T Advanced: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it moves you deeper into the GV70’s comfort and tech story without going all the way to the top. If you want the sweet spot, this is the trim to focus on.
• 2.5T Sport Prestige: This trim is for you if you want the most upscale version of the four-cylinder model, with the richest feature set in that engine family.
• 3.5T Sport: Choose this if you want the stronger V6 powertrain and are willing to pay for the extra performance. It’s the right pick if acceleration matters more than keeping costs down.
• 3.5T Sport Advanced: This is the middle ground in the V6 lineup, giving you the stronger engine with more equipment than the entry V6 trim.
• 3.5T Sport Prestige: This is the top gasoline trim if you want the most powerful conventional GV70 with the fullest feature set.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but Highway Driving Assist 2 is the more advanced available system if you want the extra lane-change capability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Genesis GV70?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market for the 2024 GV70, with meaningful inventory and a softer price trend than last year.

• Deal availability: 41.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,402 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,559, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $39,621 sits slightly below last year's $43,512.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim choice rather than on broad market momentum alone.

Because the year-over-year change is already negative, holding a clean, well-equipped example matters more if you want to protect value later. Strong demand for the model’s style and tech should help, but the biggest resale advantage will likely go to the best-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Genesis GV70 safe?

The 2024 Genesis GV70 earns the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award, and gasoline 2024 GV70 models receive four-star frontal and rollover crash-test ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor, parking assist sensors, and Highway Driving Assist. Highway Driving Assist 2 adds automated lane-change capability and blind-spot monitoring.

One caveat is that complete 2024-model-year NHTSA ratings were not available at publication, and the published ratings mentioned for gasoline models do not cover every test result.

Should I buy a 2024 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 41.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model stands out for its stylish design, impressive technology, and all-electric powertrain option.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,716, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $39,621 average.
• It emphasizes craftsmanship and refined performance.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version with strong tech, broad powertrain choice, and a favorable market setup, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path and still delivers a polished luxury experience.
