How much does the 2024 Genesis G80 cost?

Prices have softened 8.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 296 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Genesis G80 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Genesis G80 earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a luxury sedan that pairs strong value with a polished, modern presentation. The overview highlights standard all-wheel drive, a wide 27-inch OLED display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a compelling position against pricier German rivals. It also emphasizes a luxurious interior, bold design, and standard advanced driver-assistance systems, making it especially appealing if you want a well-equipped midsize luxury sedan that feels easy to live with. 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Genesis G80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a car that feels well-rounded and thoughtfully equipped, with standard all-wheel drive and a strong set of driver-assistance systems. Its main drawbacks are more about usability and efficiency than outright durability, since the technology can be unintuitive and fuel economy is poor. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more likely to come from living with the car’s quirks than from its core appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Genesis G80?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin technology, since the system can be unintuitive and you want to make sure everything works as expected. Focus on overall condition, service records, and how well the car’s luxury features have been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Genesis G80?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 296 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,219, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Genesis G80's resale value?

The current average of $43,058 sits slightly below last year's $46,967.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the car in strong condition and maintain it well, you can help protect its value against further softening. The G80’s value proposition still matters, though, because shoppers looking for a well-equipped luxury sedan may continue to see it as a strong alternative to pricier rivals.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $53,164, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $43,058 average.
• It adds a refreshed, more sophisticated-feeling package with strong curb appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2024 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to pay more for the newer model’s refreshed presentation and don’t mind the higher asking price, the 2025 is the better secondary path for shoppers focused on the latest version.
