Used 2024 GMC Acadia for Sale nearShreveport, LA

How much does the 2024 GMC Acadia cost?

Prices have softened 8.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,439 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Acadia earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The Acadia is a redesigned three-row crossover SUV that aims for a bigger-SUV feel, and its new shape helps it stand out. Inside, its well-executed cabin and easy-to-use technology are among its strongest points, and it also offers plenty of cargo space. The tradeoff is that its design may be polarizing, and its driving experience is fairly pedestrian.

That makes it a better fit if you want a practical family vehicle with a modern interior and lots of utility than if you’re shopping for something especially engaging to drive. The model’s 34.2% good or great deal share also suggests there are still some attractive listings to find.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Acadia is a redesigned model with a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a revamped interior, and those changes point to a more modern ownership experience. Its powertrain is described as pulling strongly and consistently, and the cabin and technology are presented as well executed and easy to use.

GMC also backs new vehicles with a three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a newer redesign can take time to prove itself fully, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the drivetrain, electronics, and any signs of hard use, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example. Pay close attention to cabin condition and how well the technology works, since those are two of the Acadia’s biggest strengths.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2024 Acadia is offered in base Elevation, off-road AT4, and luxe Denali trim levels. The Elevation comes standard with 18-inch wheels, while 20-inch wheels are optional; the Denali moves up to standard 20-inch wheels and optional 22s; and the AT4 gets model-specific 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. If you want the most rugged setup, the AT4 adds red tow hooks, black wheel-arch trim with marker lights, and blacked-out trim.
• Powertrain: Every Acadia uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. FWD is standard on Elevation and Denali, AWD is available on those trims, and AT4 comes standard with AWD and a more sophisticated twin-clutch system tuned for off-road driving.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assist features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, and traffic-sign recognition. The Acadia also includes a rear-seat reminder and vibrating safety alert seat, while a rearview camera mirror and surround-view camera system are available. Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels.
• Infotainment: The Acadia gets a standard 11-inch digital instrument cluster and 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless device charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, at least one USB port per row, and a standard 12-speaker Bose audio system are also included, with an available 8-inch head-up display and 16-speaker Bose system.
• Fuel efficiency: GMC estimates 23 mpg combined, 20 mpg city, and 27 mpg highway with FWD, or 21 mpg combined, 19 mpg city, and 24 mpg highway with AWD.

Which 2024 GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia is offered in 3 trim levels: Elevation, AT4, and Denali.

Here's the short version:

• Elevation: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Acadia experience with the new turbocharged engine, standard digital displays, wireless smartphone integration, and a strong safety feature set. It makes the most sense if you want the lowest starting price and don’t need the extra ruggedness or luxury touches of the higher trims.
• AT4: This is the best fit if you want the Acadia’s most distinctive character. It adds standard AWD, the twin-clutch system, a 1.2-inch ride-height lift, skid plates, Terrain drive mode, and unique exterior details, making it the clear choice for buyers who want the most capability and the most adventurous look.
• Denali: This is the upscale choice, with standard 20-inch wheels, available 22s, leather seats, and unique interior stitching. It’s the trim to consider if you care most about a more premium presentation, though the materials may not feel as luxurious as the badge suggests.

Super Cruise is available on all trim levels, so you do not need to move up to a specific trim to get that feature.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Acadia?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,439 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,541, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Acadia's resale value?

The current average of $40,742 sits slightly below last year's $44,545.

That softer pricing trend suggests the Acadia has already moved down from its earlier level, which can help future buyers but may temper near-term resale upside for current owners. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less depreciation risk than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average. The model’s strong utility, modern tech, and family-friendly layout should help it stay appealing to shoppers who want a roomy three-row crossover.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Acadia safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, a following-distance indicator, automatic emergency braking front and rear, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, and traffic-sign recognition. It also includes a rear-seat reminder and vibrating safety alert seat, while a rearview camera mirror and surround-view camera system are available.

Super Cruise is optional on all trim levels, and it allows hands-free driving while still requiring you to keep your eyes on the road. It can now work on some surface roads as well as divided highways, though you still need to take over at intersections.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Acadia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model brings a redesigned body, a revamped interior, a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and standard wireless smartphone integration.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Acadia with the biggest interior and the most up-to-date tech, the 2024 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but you’ll be giving up the redesign and the latest cabin and technology updates.
