How much does the 2024 Ford Expedition cost?

Is the 2024 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Expedition is built around space, comfort, and capability, with a third row, plenty of passenger room, and a smooth ride. It also stands out for its independent rear suspension and available adjustable pedals, which help it feel more accommodating than some full-size SUV rivals. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want a large family hauler with modern tech and a comfort-first setup. With 32.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Expedition’s appeal comes from its established formula: lots of interior space, a strong powertrain, and comfortable seats. The overview also points to a well-equipped cabin and a smooth ride, which are the kinds of traits that usually matter most in day-to-day ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic usefulness and more about whether a large, feature-rich SUV has been maintained carefully over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Expedition?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you plan to use the Expedition for family travel or towing. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and how well the technology and comfort features work, since those are central to the model’s value.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Expedition?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,168 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.71% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,448, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $45,820 sits slightly below last year's $55,013.

That price drop can work in your favor if you buy now, because you may be entering ownership at a lower cost basis than shoppers faced a year ago. For a future seller, the softer market means resale value will depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Well-kept examples should still appeal to buyers who want a spacious, comfortable full-size SUV with strong utility.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $60,564, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $45,820 average.
• It adds the Tremor trim for more off-road capability.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2024 is the stronger starting point because it combines lower pricing with broad inventory and strong owner satisfaction. If you are willing to pay more for the newer redesign and the added off-road-focused Tremor trim, the 2025 is the better secondary path.
