overall

Summary
With 483 currently listed for sale near Nashville, TN and an average price of $50,586, 26.1% of 2024 Ford Broncos for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Ford Bronco 4.71 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it a 6.83 / 10.
100.0% of 2024 Bronco models on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Ford Bronco stands out by pairing an iconic nameplate with a retro-designed SUV body. It remains appealing because it is fun to drive, comfortable, and offers plenty of cargo space. Owners also praise its off-road capability and modern features, along with the availability of unique colors.
For 2024, Ford adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system, a more rugged front bumper on the Bronco Badlands, and two new colors for the Bronco Raptor. Those updates help keep the Bronco fresh while preserving its rugged character. At the same time, buyers should note its poor fuel economy, the lack of a hybrid or plug-in hybrid option, and the need for a cloth seat option.

Great car for outdoors. Ford could have provided little more storage space -- like above the glove box or behind seats. Noise level can also be further reduced, for it to be used as a commuter vehicle during week :) Overall, it is a very good alternative to Jeep providing superior offroad experience.

Bronco Wildtrak is amazing! I love the simplicity of the design, yet everything that you need is there. I bought one in the eruption green color and could not love it more.

How much does the 2024 Ford Bronco cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $45,375 |
| Year-Round Low | $45,361 |
| Year-Round High | $50,719 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $50,713 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −10.52% |
Prices have softened 10.52% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 5,171 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.
Is the 2024 Ford Bronco a good car?
Yes — you’re looking at a 4.71/5 user-rated SUV with an expert rating of 6.83/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.
Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, modern features, and stylish design, and they also like the unique colors available. The Bronco’s appeal is strongest if you want something fun to drive, comfortable, and practical enough to offer plenty of cargo space.
The trade-offs are clear: the ride can be noisy for daily commuting, and some owners wish storage space were better. The expert verdict also points to cooling demand and poor fuel economy as real considerations.
With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have room to shop selectively.
Is the 2024 Ford Bronco reliable?
Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The owner feedback also points to a vehicle people feel good about living with over time, especially when they value capability and modern features.
The Bronco’s performance and durability story is reinforced by its strong off-road hardware and the way it handles rough terrain with confidence. That said, the expert evaluation also makes clear that this is a rugged SUV with compromises, so long-term ownership risk is less about basic satisfaction and more about whether you can live with its fuel use and truck-like character.
Ford’s maintenance and ownership messaging also leans toward practicality, but the bigger used-buyer question is whether the previous owner treated it like the capable off-roader it is. For you, that means checking for hard-use wear and making sure the vehicle’s condition matches its mileage and history.
What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Bronco?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been used off-road. Focus on signs of trail wear, tire and suspension condition, and any evidence of hard use that might not show up in the listing photos.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The Big Bend is the standard trim level, and the Sasquatch Package is a pricey upgrade that adds a suspension lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and other off-roading equipment. Without those 35-inch tires, the Bronco can look a bit awkward, so you should pay attention to whether the truck has the appearance and hardware you want.
- Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the optional turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. A turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 is exclusive to the Raptor and makes 418 hp and 440 lb-ft.
- Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines.
- Infotainment: Every Bronco gets a 12-inch Sync 4 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, FordPass Connect services, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, and a seven-speaker stereo. Higher trims add connected navigation and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 10 speakers.
- Fuel efficiency: The Big Bend Sasquatch with the 2.3-liter engine is rated at 18 mpg city, 17 mpg highway, and 18 mpg combined. Without the Sasquatch Package, highway fuel economy improves by 4 mpg and combined fuel economy improves by 2 mpg.
Which 2024 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?
The 2024 Ford Bronco is offered in 9 trim levels: Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Heritage Edition, Wildtrak, Everglades, Heritage Limited Edition, and Raptor.
Here's the short version:
- Big Bend: This is the standard trim level, so it’s the starting point if you want the Bronco experience without moving up the ladder right away. It includes the core safety equipment and the standard 12-inch Sync 4 system, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers.
- Black Diamond: This trim is a better fit if you want a more trail-focused setup than the base configuration, while still staying below the higher-priced specialty models. It makes sense if you care more about capability than luxury touches.
- Outer Banks: Choose this if you want a more polished Bronco with a stronger emphasis on everyday comfort and style. It suits buyers who want the rugged look but plan to spend more time on pavement.
- Badlands: This is the trim to target if off-road capability is your priority and you want a more serious hardware setup. The content also notes a more rugged front bumper on the Badlands for 2024.
- Heritage Edition: This is the pick for shoppers who want the retro-inspired personality to be a bigger part of the appeal. It fits best if design and character matter as much as capability.
- Wildtrak: This trim is for buyers who want a more performance-oriented Bronco setup without going all the way to the Raptor. It should appeal if you want stronger capability and a more aggressive personality.
- Everglades: This is the niche choice if you want a Bronco with specialized off-road character. It makes sense for buyers who want something more distinctive than the mainstream trims.
- Heritage Limited Edition: This is the most exclusive retro-themed choice in the lineup and is best for shoppers who want rarity and style. It’s the trim to consider if you value collectability and visual distinction.
- Raptor: This is the top-end performance model, with the exclusive 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 and the highest tow rating mentioned. It’s the right choice if you want the most extreme Bronco experience.
Ford also notes that the Sasquatch Package is standard or optional on most Broncos, so you should verify whether the trim you’re considering already includes the off-road hardware you want.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Bronco?
This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.
- Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 5,171 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 10.52% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 93.6% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $45,361, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Ford Bronco's resale value?
The current average of $45,375 sits slightly below last year's $50,713.
That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean slower appreciation if you plan to resell soon. If you’re a future seller, the current trend implies you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, trim, and equipment rather than broad market momentum.
The Bronco’s strong owner satisfaction helps support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable off-road equipment. If you maintain yours carefully and avoid heavy wear, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2024 Ford Bronco safe?
The Bronco four-door earns a Marginal headlight rating from IIHS, and it earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover, and five-star ratings in all other NHTSA tests.
It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.
Ford equips the Bronco Big Bend with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines. The available Ford Co-Pilot360 package adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.
You should note the headlight caveat and the fact that the NHTSA results are incomplete in the source material. If safety is a top priority, look closely at which driver-assistance features are included on the specific trim you’re considering.
Should I buy a 2024 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 10.52% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- Ford adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system and updates the Bronco Badlands and Raptor for 2024.
Consider the 2023 if:
- At $41,767, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $45,375 average.
- It offers nine distinct models and strong highway manners.
Consider the 2025 if:
- At $47,773, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $45,375 average.
- It emphasizes comfort, capability, and a wider range of variants.
The bottom line: If you want the best mix of current-market value and updated equipment, the 2024 is the smart default. If price matters most, the 2023 is the better path; if you want to spend more for the newer-year alternative, the 2025 is worth a look.
