How much does the 2024 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 11.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,071 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Bronco earns a 4.7/5 from owners and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capabilities, modern features, and distinctive styling, while also appreciating the stylish interior and unique colors. The Bronco’s use-case is strongest if you want an SUV with personality that feels at home on rough terrain and still works for everyday driving.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and the lack of a hybrid or plug-in hybrid option, along with a need for a cloth seat option. Even so, the market still shows 34.7% good or great deals, which means there are still attractive listings to be found.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The owner summary also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in the ways shoppers care about most, especially when it comes to capability, modern features, and day-to-day confidence.

The expert drive notes that the Bronco’s drivetrain is satisfying, with good acceleration, clean shifts, and easy 4-Hi and 4-Lo engagement. That said, the same evaluation also makes clear that this SUV is not fuel efficient, so long-term ownership costs can be higher than you might expect if you drive a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been used off-road or fitted with larger tires and suspension upgrades. Focus on wear items, interior condition, and signs of hard use, since this model’s appeal often overlaps with more demanding driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Big Bend is the standard trim level, and the Sasquatch Package is a pricey upgrade that adds a suspension lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and other off-roading equipment. The four-door test vehicle also showed how the available package can change the Bronco’s stance and appearance, while the base setup is more modest.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, and many Broncos offer a seven-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic. A turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 is also available, and the Raptor uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6.
• Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 includes lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The Bronco Big Bend also includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines.
• Infotainment: Every Bronco gets a 12-inch Sync 4 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, FordPass Connect services, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, and a seven-speaker stereo system. Higher trims add connected navigation and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system with 10 speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says a Big Bend Sasquatch with the 2.3-liter engine should return 18 mpg in the city, 17 mpg on the highway, and 18 mpg combined. The expert review also notes that the Bronco is not fuel efficient.

Which 2024 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Bronco is offered in 9 trim levels: Big Bend, Badlands, and Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the standard trim level, so it’s the starting point if you want the Bronco’s core personality without moving up the ladder. It gets the standard 12-inch Sync 4 system and the basic safety equipment, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers.
• Badlands: This trim is the better pick if you want a more rugged setup and the added hardware that comes with the Bronco’s more trail-focused personality. The source also notes a more rugged front bumper on the Bronco Badlands for 2024.
• Raptor: This is the performance-oriented choice, with the most powerful engine in the lineup and the highest tow rating mentioned in the source. It also gets two new colors for 2024, which adds to its visual appeal.

Ford’s safety package expands with the Mid Package, which adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing softness to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,071 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,898, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $43,898 sits slightly below last year's $49,333.

That price movement suggests the Bronco has softened enough to help buyers today, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if values continue to drift downward. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to preserve value later. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, especially for a model with a clear enthusiast following.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco safe?

The Bronco four-door earns favorable IIHS ratings overall, except for a Marginal headlight score, and it earns a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA with a three-rating for rollover resistance.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford Co-Pilot360 adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors when equipped through the Mid Package. Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines.

The main caveat is that the crash-test results are incomplete, and the headlight performance score is a weak point.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system and fresh styling updates.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $40,468, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $43,898 average.
• It offers broad configurability and strong off-road appeal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $46,801, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $43,898 average.
• It broadens appeal with more comfort on streets and highways.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the latest updates and a strong mix of inventory and pricing. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to pay more for the newer model-year experience.
