How much does the 2024 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices have softened 9.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,908 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2024 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — 4.8/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Dodge Durango. Drivers generally praise its smooth ride, abundant features, and strong power, and the AWD setup gets positive attention for performance and fuel efficiency. It also fits well if you want a three-row SUV with family seating and a more muscular personality than many midsize rivals. With 36.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a workable market to shop in.

Is the 2024 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a vehicle that feels smooth, capable, and well-equipped, which supports the case for dependable day-to-day use. At the same time, the model’s long-term ownership picture depends heavily on condition and maintenance history, so a careful pre-purchase check matters. For used buyers, that means the biggest reliability risk is buying a neglected example rather than the model itself.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Dodge Durango?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like, even if it appears clean at first glance. Put inspection priority on maintenance records, signs of prior damage, and how well the vehicle’s condition matches its mileage and asking price. Because this model has a history of reliability concerns, condition should matter more than trim or feature count.

What is the 2024 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $32,330 sits slightly below last year's $35,596.

That price movement suggests the Durango has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss later. Demand should also benefit from the model’s strong owner satisfaction and distinctive character.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,182, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $32,330 average.
• It adds standard heated front seats and the return of the Hellcat.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $33,565, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $32,330 average.
• It emphasizes a roomier, more refined final-year package.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best primary pick if you want the strongest mix of price, inventory, and buyer satisfaction. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 can still make sense, but you should expect to pay more for it than the 2024 average.
