Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale near Utah

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 5.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,567 listings available, which suggests you should have a decent range of choices.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Trailblazer’s appeal comes from its practical packaging and polished presentation: it checks the necessary boxes for performance, efficiency, price, and capability while also exceeding expectations for passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. That makes it a strong fit if you want a small SUV that feels more substantial than a basic entry-level crossover.

The trade-offs are clear, though. The base engine is underwhelming, and the overall performance is fairly pedestrian, so you may want to look past the standard setup if you care about stronger acceleration. Even so, the Trailblazer’s stylish design, spacious cabin, and easy-to-use technology help it stand out.

The market looks healthy, with 36.9% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer’s overall package points to a vehicle that should be straightforward to live with: it emphasizes practicality, efficiency, and ease of use, and the expert evaluation notes that its driver-assistance features worked as expected during testing. The powertrain lineup is simple, which can also help keep ownership predictable.

Its base engine is described as anemic, and the transmission can dull responses, so the main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is ending up with a version that feels strained in everyday driving.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on overall condition, how the transmission behaves, and whether the cabin and tech features operate cleanly.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Trailblazer’s styling and cabin presentation improve as you move up, and the base setup is the one most likely to feel sparse compared with the better-equipped versions.
• Powertrain: The Trailblazer is available with a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine or a more powerful turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder; the base engine is described as anemic, while the 1.3-liter is the better choice for everyday drivability.
• Safety package: All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available separately.
• Infotainment: The standard 11-inch touchscreen is paired with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless charging is available. There is no native navigation system.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 29 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. The upgraded turbo engine with all-wheel drive should achieve 26 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, and it makes the Trailblazer’s core strengths accessible, but it’s also the trim most likely to leave you wanting more equipment. If you’re shopping on a tighter budget, it gets you into the model without overcomplicating the decision.
• LT: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it should give you a more satisfying balance of equipment and price without pushing you into the highest-priced versions.
• Activ: This trim adds the more powerful turbocharged 1.3-liter engine and all-wheel drive, and it’s the one to consider if you want the Trailblazer’s more capable setup.
• RS: This is the top-priced choice in the lineup, so it makes sense if you want the most upscale or fully equipped version of the Trailblazer.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, while the Driver Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,567 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,561, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $22,561 sits slightly below last year's $23,983.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic if the market stays competitive. A lower current average can support demand from value-focused shoppers, especially when the vehicle still offers strong practicality and a good feature set.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 brings a refreshed look, a larger standard 11-inch touchscreen, and standard wireless smartphone integration.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $20,927, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,561 average.
• It is a likable and affordable small SUV with a stylish design and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped and more current Trailblazer, the 2024 is the stronger pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up some of the newer touches, the 2023 is the value play.
