Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearSheboygan, WI

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 6.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,565 listings available, which gives you a healthy pool of options to compare by trim, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Trailblazer’s appeal comes from its practical packaging: it is described as covering the basics well while also going beyond expectations for passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. That makes it a strong fit if you want a small SUV that feels more polished and usable than its size might suggest.

The trade-offs are clear, though. The base engine is called underwhelming, and overall performance is described as fairly pedestrian. Even so, the Trailblazer’s balance of space, usability, and value-oriented appeal gives it a useful edge if you care more about everyday livability than quick acceleration.

Only 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you may need to shop carefully to find the best value.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer is presented as a practical, value-focused small SUV that checks the necessary boxes for performance, efficiency, price, and capability. Its expert evaluation also notes that the vehicle’s ride is composed over small and moderate road imperfections, which supports the sense that it is built for everyday use rather than drama.

The powertrain and transmission are the main dependability-related watchouts in the expert assessment. The base engine is described as anemic, and the transmission response can feel slow, especially under sustained acceleration or when downshifting. On the positive side, the available 1.3-liter turbo is described as adequate, and the vehicle’s driver-assistance features functioned as expected during testing.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a trim or configuration that feels underpowered for your needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, even with a strong accident-free share, because condition can vary widely from one listing to the next. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you are considering a higher-mileage example or a vehicle with optional equipment you want to confirm is working properly. Focus on overall wear, interior condition, and whether the features you care about are actually present on the trim you are looking at.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Trailblazer’s styling is a major part of its appeal, and the interior gets a more modern look with the larger 11-inch touchscreen and digital instrument panel. Base-trim shoppers should pay close attention to feature gaps, since some convenience and appearance upgrades are reserved for higher trims.
• Powertrain: The Trailblazer offers a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, plus a turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder with 155 hp and 174 lb-ft. The base engine is paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive, while the stronger engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic and can be had with all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors. Adaptive cruise control is available separately.
• Infotainment: The standard setup includes an 11-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and satellite radio. A native navigation system is not offered, so you’ll rely on your phone for directions.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 29 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. The upgraded turbo engine with all-wheel drive should return 26 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, so it makes the most sense if you want the lowest starting price and are comfortable with the most basic equipment. It still gets the Trailblazer’s standard 11-inch touchscreen and core safety tech, but it is the trim most likely to leave you wanting more convenience and polish.
• LT: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it builds on the base model without pushing you into the pricier specialty trims. If you want a balanced mix of equipment, usability, and price, this is the trim to start with.
• Activ: This trim is the one to consider if you want the more powerful 1.3-liter engine and the available all-wheel-drive setup. It also brings the more adventurous character highlighted in testing, making it a better fit if you want extra capability and a more upscale feel.
• RS: This is the trim to choose if you want the sportier appearance and top-end presentation. It sits at the upper end of the lineup, so it makes the most sense if style and equipment matter more to you than keeping the purchase price down.

The optional Driver Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop with a clear target and be ready to move on a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,565 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,644, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $22,731 sits slightly below last year's $24,204.

That price movement suggests the Trailblazer has softened enough to give used buyers more leverage today. For a future seller, that means resale value may depend heavily on trim, mileage, and condition rather than broad market momentum alone.

If you buy well and keep the vehicle in clean condition, you should be better positioned when it’s time to sell. The current pricing trend also suggests that well-equipped examples may stand out more than basic ones when demand tightens.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer earns five-star ratings in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations from NHTSA, and four stars for rollover protection. The IIHS gave it its highest score of good in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors. Adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option.

One caveat is that you do get more standard driver-assistance content with some rivals, so you may want to prioritize a higher-trim or better-equipped example if safety tech matters most to you.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model adds a larger 11-inch touchscreen and a more modern interior presentation.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,122, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,731 average.
• It is a likable and affordable small SUV with strong value and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped and more current version, the 2024 is the stronger pick. If your priority is saving money and you can live with the older model year’s setup, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path.
