Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearLas Vegas, NV

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 5.98% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,577 listings available, which gives you a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the Trailblazer earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The 2024 Trailblazer is described as covering the basics well while also going beyond expectations in passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. That makes it a strong fit if you want a small SUV that feels practical without giving up a more polished presentation.

The main trade-offs are its underwhelming base engine and fairly pedestrian performance. If you care more about everyday usability, styling, and cabin space than quick acceleration, those compromises are easier to live with.

37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer’s overall package points to a vehicle that should be easy to live with, especially because it emphasizes straightforward usability and a practical layout. Its performance notes also suggest a simple, conventional powertrain setup rather than something overly complex.

The Trailblazer’s base engine is described as anemic, and the transmission can slow responses under acceleration, so you should pay close attention to how the drivetrain feels on a test drive. If you’re buying used, long-term ownership risk is more about drivability and wear-related satisfaction than about a flashy feature set.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re considering, even if the market looks clean overall. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on drivetrain behavior, interior condition, and how well the tech and driver-assistance features operate. Because this model’s appeal leans heavily on comfort, space, and usability, condition matters a lot.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Trailblazer’s styling refresh and larger 11-inch touchscreen help the cabin feel more modern, but the base setup still uses harder interior plastics. Look closely at whether the trim you’re considering includes the nicer interior touches and equipment you want.
• Powertrain: The base turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder makes 137 horsepower and is paired with a CVT, while the available turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder makes 155 hp and is paired with a nine-speed automatic. The stronger engine is the better choice if you want more confident passing and highway merging.
• Safety package: All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available separately.
• Infotainment: The standard 11-inch touchscreen is paired with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio is standard. There is no native navigation system, so you’ll rely on your phone for that function.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 29 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. The upgraded turbo engine with all-wheel drive is estimated at 26 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the starting point, but the Trailblazer’s standard 11-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto help it feel more modern than a typical base trim. It makes sense if you want the lowest entry price and can live without extra comfort or convenience upgrades.
• LT: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it builds on the Trailblazer’s strong usability without pushing you into the pricier upper trims. If you want a balanced mix of everyday features and value, this is the trim to focus on.
• Activ: This trim is the one to consider if you want the more capable-feeling setup described in the performance notes, including the available turbocharged 1.3-liter engine and all-wheel drive. It suits you best if you want a more rugged-leaning version with extra capability.
• RS: This is the trim for shoppers who want the sportier appearance and the most upscale-feeling presentation in the lineup. It makes the most sense if style matters as much as practicality.

The optional Driver Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors, so it’s worth prioritizing if you want more driver assistance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should shop with a clear target and compare multiple listings.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,577 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.98% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,315, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $22,315 sits slightly below last year's $23,736.

That price movement suggests the Trailblazer has softened enough to give used buyers a better entry point than a year ago. For a future seller, that means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well-equipped the vehicle is.

Because the Trailblazer is still drawing interest for its space, style, and easy-to-use technology, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer earns five-star ratings in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations from NHTSA, and four stars for rollover protection. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it its highest score of good in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 brings a larger 11-inch touchscreen and a more modern cabin presentation.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $20,690, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,315 average.
• It is a likable and affordable small SUV with a stylish design and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the more modern-feeling Trailblazer with stronger market availability and a better-equipped cabin, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 remains the more budget-friendly route.
