Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearEl Paso, TX

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 5.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,555 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Trailblazer stands out by covering the basics well while also going beyond expectations in passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. That makes it a strong fit if you want a small SUV that feels practical without giving up everyday comfort or a polished look.

The trade-offs are clear: the base engine is underwhelming, and overall performance is fairly pedestrian. If you value a stylish, roomy, easy-to-use subcompact SUV more than quick acceleration, the Trailblazer lines up well with that use case.

Good and great deals account for 36.7% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer’s overall package points to a vehicle that should be straightforward to live with, especially because it emphasizes practicality, efficiency, and ease of use. Its performance is described as adequate rather than exciting, but the ride is composed and the cabin is designed to be approachable for daily driving.

The available 1.3-liter turbo engine is the better choice if you want a more confident powertrain, and the model’s technology is easy to use once you get familiar with it. The Trailblazer also avoids requiring premium fuel, which helps keep ownership costs more predictable.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is choosing a poorly maintained example with the weaker base engine and missing the better-equipped configuration you may want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually low. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior damage, and whether the equipment level matches what you want for daily use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Trailblazer’s styling and cabin presentation are a big part of its appeal, and the interior gets a more modern look with the larger touchscreen and digital instrument panel. Base-trim shoppers should pay close attention to feature content, since the more polished feel comes from the broader equipment mix rather than the entry model alone.
• Powertrain: The base turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder makes 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and it is described as anemic with slow responses. The available turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder increases output to 155 hp and 174 lb-ft and is the better choice if you want more usable performance.
• Safety package: All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available separately.
• Infotainment: The standard 11-inch touchscreen is larger than last year’s displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the digital instrument panel is easy to read. A native navigation system is not offered, so you’ll rely on your phone for that function.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 29 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. The upgraded turbo engine with all-wheel drive should achieve 26 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Trailblazer’s core space, style, and easy-to-use tech at the lowest cost. It’s the trim to compare first if you’re shopping on a budget, but you should be sure the equipment level is enough for your needs.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it builds on the base setup without pushing you into the highest-priced versions. If you want a balanced mix of features and price, this is the one to focus on first.
• Activ: This trim is the one to consider if you want the more capable setup described in the performance notes, including the more powerful 1.3-liter engine and all-wheel drive. It suits you best if you want a Trailblazer with a little more confidence and versatility.
• RS: This is the trim to choose if you want the most style-forward version of the Trailblazer. It makes the most sense if appearance and a more upscale presentation matter more to you than keeping the price as low as possible.

The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,555 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,245, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $22,245 sits slightly below last year's $23,650.

That softer pricing suggests the Trailblazer is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can make it harder to command top dollar in the near term. If you buy at a good price now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

The model’s broad appeal comes from its practical cabin, easy-to-use tech, and stylish design, which can help support demand when you eventually resell. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer earns five-star ratings in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations from NHTSA, and four-star rollover protection. The IIHS gives it a Good rating in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option.

One caveat is that you do tend to get more standard safety features and driver assists with some rivals, so you may want to prioritize a well-equipped example if safety tech matters most to you.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 Trailblazer adds a larger 11-inch touchscreen and a more modern interior presentation.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $20,581, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,245 average.
• It focuses on value, stylish design, and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped and more current version, the 2024 is the stronger pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up some of the newer presentation and current-year market context, the 2023 is the price-sensitive alternative worth considering.
