Used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearOklahoma City, OK

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 6.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,031 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.8/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The Colorado stands out as a midsize truck that leans into a modern lifestyle-pickup formula, with a bold redesign and a focus on capability rather than purely work-truck duty. It offers easy-to-use technology, refined on-road handling, and impressive off-road handling, so you can use it for daily driving and weekend recreation.

The main trade-offs are that it has only one cab/bed style, drab cabin materials, and a high price. Even so, if you want a rugged, tech-forward truck with strong all-around capability, the Colorado fits that brief well.

36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Colorado is presented as a modern, well-equipped truck with strong capability, and its standard turbocharged four-cylinder setup is described as delivering solid low-end power. Its eight-speed automatic transmission is also described as doing a great job of managing power at any speed.

The Colorado’s standard equipment and broad capability suggest a truck built to handle daily use and recreation without feeling stripped down. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher-trim versions can be expensive to buy and maintain relative to the truck’s size.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage truck or one that may have seen trail use. Focus on overall condition, cabin wear, and signs of hard use, since this model is positioned as a recreation-friendly pickup.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The WT is the base model, but it still includes a fully digital instrument panel, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, and smartphone connectivity; it keeps cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats, while the LT adds more convenience features and is described as a good value.
• Powertrain: The Colorado comes exclusively with turbocharged four-cylinder power, with a base version making 237 horsepower and a stronger version making 310 hp; both use an eight-speed automatic transmission.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Teen Driver; additional features such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert appear on higher equipment.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses an 11.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, plus an 11-inch fully digital instrument panel and hard-button controls for easier use.
• Fuel efficiency: The most efficient version returns 20 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined; 4WD versions return 18 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the entry point, but it still brings a fully digital instrument panel, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and satellite radio, so you are not giving up the basics. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost path into the lineup and can live with cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats.
• LT: This is the best-value trim because it adds alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, a rear USB port, and a full front center console. If you want a more comfortable daily driver without jumping too far up the price ladder, this is the trim to target.
• Trail Boss: This is the first clear off-road step, with a lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, and an automatically locking rear differential. It suits you if you want trail capability without going all the way to the top end.
• Z71: This trim keeps many off-road-oriented chassis enhancements while adding unique cloth-and-synthetic-leather upholstery, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and red front recovery hooks. It is a good fit if you want a more polished off-road-leaning truck.
• ZR2: This is the most serious off-road model, with additional trail-ready chassis upgrades, remote start, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-assisted tailgate, and a spray-on bed-liner. Choose it if off-road capability is your priority and you want the most hardware in the lineup.

The LT Convenience Package III adds blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, so that package is worth seeking out if safety tech matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,031 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.72% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,895, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $36,237 sits slightly below last year's $38,848.

That softer pricing trend can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if prices continue to ease. If you buy at the right number and keep the truck in strong condition, you should be better positioned when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado safe?

The Colorado earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover, and five-star ratings in side crash testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Teen Driver. Higher equipment adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, while the ZR2 is available with an underbody camera.

The rollover result is the main caveat to keep in mind, especially if you plan to use the truck in more demanding conditions.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 emphasizes easy-to-use tech, refined on-road manners, and strong off-road capability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,068, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,237 average.
• It focuses on basics while still feeling modern and capable.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $38,624, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,237 average.
• It adds a right-sized crew cab package with strong standard turbocharged power.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price movement, inventory, and modern capability, the 2024 is the smart default. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want the newest take on the formula, the 2025 is worth a look.
