Used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearCarbondale, IL

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 6.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,979 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The Colorado fits buyers who want a midsize truck that leans into recreation as much as utility. Its bold redesign, easy-to-use technology, refined on-road handling, and impressive off-road handling make it a strong match if you want a modern pickup with a more polished driving feel.

The trade-offs are real, though: the cabin materials are drab, there is only one cab/bed style, and the price is high. The expert notes also point to a truck that is more lifestyle-focused than bare-bones work-oriented.

Good and great deals percentage: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Colorado is presented as a modern, well-equipped truck with strong capability and up-to-date technology, which supports confidence in day-to-day ownership. Its turbocharged four-cylinder setup is described as delivering solid low-end power, and the eight-speed automatic is said to manage power well at any speed.

The truck’s well-rounded road manners also help it feel like a polished daily driver, even with off-road hardware available on higher trims. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a truck built around capability and premium features can be more expensive to keep satisfying if you want a lower-cost, simpler ownership experience.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a truck that may have seen trail use or heavy towing. Focus on overall condition, cabin wear, and signs that off-road equipment or accessories were used hard.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The WT is the base model and still includes a fully digital instrument panel, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and satellite radio, but it keeps cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats. The LT adds alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, a rear USB port, and a full front center console, while available convenience packages add features like fog lights, wireless device charging, heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, and upgraded lighting.
• Powertrain: The Colorado comes exclusively with turbocharged four-cylinder power, with a base 2.4-liter engine making 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, and a Turbo Max version making 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. Both pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the most efficient version is the base engine with rear-wheel drive.
• Safety package: The standard driver-assistance suite includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Teen Driver. Higher trims or packages add reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control is available on certain trim levels.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses an 11.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, plus an 11-inch fully digital instrument panel, two front USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and satellite radio. Higher trims add wireless device charging, more USB ports, and wall-style power outlets.
• Fuel efficiency: The base rear-wheel-drive version returns 20 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The four-wheel-drive version returns 18 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined, while the standard ZR2 returns 17 mpg across the board and the ZR2 Bison returns 16 mpg across the board.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the entry point, but it is not stripped down in the old-school sense. You still get the digital instrument panel, the 11.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and standard safety tech, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup and can live without comfort upgrades.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds useful everyday upgrades without pushing you into the more expensive off-road models. The LT becomes especially appealing with the Convenience Package, which adds features like fog lights, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a sliding rear window.
• Trail Boss: This trim is for you if you want a more trail-ready setup right away. It adds a lifted off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, and an automatically locking rear differential.
• Z71: This is the more polished off-road-oriented choice if you want capability with a bit more comfort and equipment. It keeps many chassis enhancements and adds unique upholstery, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and red front recovery hooks.
• ZR2: This is the most serious off-road trim, with additional trail-ready chassis upgrades, remote start, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-assisted tailgate, and a spray-on bed-liner.

The LT Convenience Package III adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It emphasizes modern tech, refined handling, and strong off-road capability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,563, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,781 average.
• It focuses on basics with modern tech and strong capability.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $39,149, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,781 average.
