How much does the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ cost?

Prices have softened 9.71% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ earns a 4.62/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the comfortable and quiet ride, stylish appearance, strong acceleration, and advanced tech features. They also highlight the impressive range and the upscale feel of the cabin.

The trade-offs are that the driving experience can feel less exciting, and some owners mention charging-process and electronics concerns. In context, this is a midsize luxury EV aimed at buyers who want comfort, technology, and range more than sharp handling.

With 35.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have room to shop carefully without feeling rushed.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ reliable?

Owners rate it 4.62/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels comfortable, quiet, and impressive over time, with many drivers specifically calling out the range and tech as strengths they can count on. That kind of repeat praise matters when you’re looking at a used EV, because it suggests the LYRIQ’s appeal holds up beyond the first impression.

The expert evaluation also describes it as calm, poised, and well-suited to long-distance comfort, which supports the idea that it’s built for steady everyday use rather than constant drama. Cadillac also notes that the first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps early ownership costs.

The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is the combination of charging concerns, electronics complaints, and the need to verify battery and charging performance carefully before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one that has seen frequent fast charging. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and whether the electronics and cabin features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin presentation is strongest on Tech and Luxury trims, while the Sport trim uses a darker exterior motif. The base setup is still well equipped, but the higher trims are where the LYRIQ’s upscale design details and visual presence come through most clearly.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a single rear motor with 340 hp and 325 lb-ft, while the optional dual-motor setup adds continuous all-wheel drive with 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. The dual-motor version is the one to look for if you want more traction and stronger output.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat. Adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, rear emergency braking, and a rear camera displayed on the rearview mirror are optional.
• Infotainment: The 33-inch OLED display is a major highlight, with native Google Maps and Google Assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and simple menus. The available Super Cruise system is a standout if you want hands-free driving support.
• Range & charging: Cadillac claims 314 miles of range with rear-wheel drive and 307 miles with all-wheel drive from the 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack. DC fast charging can get the battery to 80 percent in about 30 to 35 minutes, and the available 19.2-kW Level 2 onboard charger is worth seeking out for home charging.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, ask how the car was typically charged, and confirm whether it spent most of its life on home charging or frequent DC fast charging. You should also verify how much of the battery warranty remains and make sure charging speeds and range estimates still look healthy in real-world use.

Which 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ trim should I buy?

The 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ is offered in 3 trim levels: Luxury, Sport, and Tech.

Here's the short version:

• Tech: This is the most straightforward way into the LYRIQ lineup, and it gives you the core luxury-EV experience without chasing extras. It makes the most sense if you want the style, screens, and range story at the lowest entry point.
• Luxury: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it leans into the LYRIQ’s upscale character while keeping the core comfort and technology strengths intact. If you want the most balanced mix of equipment and price, this is the trim to target.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the darker exterior treatment and the most aggressive visual presentation. It’s the right pick if appearance matters most to you, but it’s not the trim to buy for sharper handling.

The standard safety package includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,574 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.71% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,098, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ's resale value?

The current average of $38,098 sits slightly below last year's $42,197.

That decline suggests the LYRIQ has moved into a more buyer-friendly pricing zone, which can help you if you’re shopping now but may pressure resale if you plan to sell soon. The good news is that the model’s strong styling, comfort, and technology should help it stay appealing to used-EV shoppers.

Because the market is already pricing in some depreciation, a well-kept example with desirable equipment should be easier to move later than a neglected one. Strong condition, clean history, and healthy battery performance will matter a lot when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ safe?

The 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ has not been crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat, which vibrates the cushions instead of using audible alerts. Adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, rear emergency braking, and a rear camera displayed on the rearview mirror are optional.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 is the first full model year of Cadillac's midsize electric SUV, with a properly upscale interior and strong tech appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of price, inventory depth, and the LYRIQ’s first full-year improvements, the 2024 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, shop carefully for the best deal and prioritize condition, battery health, and charging performance over trim prestige.
