Used 2024 Buick Encore GX for Sale near Florida

How much does the 2024 Buick Encore GX cost?

Prices have softened 4.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,523 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2024 Buick Encore GX a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Buick Encore GX earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

You’re looking at a smartly refreshed subcompact crossover with an attractive design, a comfortable ride, and useful cargo space. Buick’s updated look and new touchscreen give it a more modern feel, and the model’s economical character still comes through clearly.

The trade-offs are that the new touchscreen underwhelms and performance could be better, so you should weigh tech polish and acceleration against the Encore GX’s comfort and practicality. 38.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Buick Encore GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Encore GX is presented as an economical, easygoing small crossover with a smooth ride and useful everyday usability. Its powertrain is described as decent, and the vehicle’s comfort-focused setup supports low-stress ownership for daily driving.

You also get a free first vehicle service that includes an oil change, inspection, and tire rotation, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a neglected example could magnify the model’s weaker performance and tech frustrations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Buick Encore GX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, confirm the vehicle’s condition, and prioritize a thorough inspection of the touchscreen, driver-assistance features, and overall interior wear. Because the model’s appeal depends heavily on comfort and convenience, a clean, well-kept example matters more than usual.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Preferred trim is the entry point, while the Sport Touring and Avenir add more presentation and upscale appeal. The Avenir gets its own unique grille and chrome trim, and the top two trims also get new LED tail lights.
• Powertrain: The base Preferred can use a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, while all trims can be upgraded to a 1.3-liter turbocharged three-cylinder with 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. The turbo engine pairs with a nine-speed automatic, and the base engine uses a CVT.
• Safety package: Buick’s Driver Confidence package is standard and includes lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, a following distance indicator, automatic high beams, and blind-spot monitoring. Rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera are extra.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch touchscreen paired with an 8-inch digital gauge cluster under one pane of glass. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and USB-A, USB-C, a wireless charging pad, and a 120-volt outlet are available.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA gives the Encore GX a combined fuel rating of 30 mpg in FWD with either engine, and AWD with the 1.3-liter engine drops combined fuel economy to 27 mpg.

Which 2024 Buick Encore GX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Buick Encore GX is offered in 3 trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the value play if you want the Encore GX’s core strengths at the lowest entry point. It gives you the refreshed design, the comfortable ride, and the standard safety package, and it can be paired with the smaller engine if you want to keep costs down.
• Sport Touring: This is the middle-ground choice if you want a little more style without jumping to the top trim. It keeps the model’s practical strengths while adding a more expressive presentation than the base version.
• Avenir: This is the pick if you want the most upscale version of the Encore GX. It gets its own unique grille and chrome trim, and it suits you best if you want the most premium look in the lineup.

The standard safety package includes lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, a following distance indicator, automatic high beams, and blind-spot monitoring. Rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera remain optional.

• Deal availability: 38.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,523 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,812, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Buick Encore GX's resale value?

The current average of $22,121 sits slightly below last year's $23,099.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy in at a more favorable point. For a future seller, that also means resale expectations should be grounded in current demand rather than last year’s higher pricing.

The model’s broad appeal comes from its comfort, cargo space, and attractive design, which should help it remain easy to market later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Buick Encore GX safe?

The 2024 Buick Encore GX earns five-star overall ratings from NHTSA, including five-star frontal crash and side crash ratings and a four-star rollover rating.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Buick’s Driver Confidence package is standard and includes lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, a following distance indicator, automatic high beams, and blind-spot monitoring. Teen Driver and Buckle to Drive are also standard, while rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera are extra.

One caveat is that the 2024 model has not yet been rated by IIHS, so you should lean on the available NHTSA results and the standard safety equipment when evaluating a used example.

Should I buy a 2024 Buick Encore GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The refreshed design, new touchscreen, and broader trim lineup make this year the more modern choice.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,093, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,121 average.
• It is a comfortable, cargo-friendly entry-level crossover with easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newer look, updated tech, and broader trim choice, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money and you can live with the older version’s simpler setup, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path.
