Is the 2024 BMW M8 a good car?
Yes — the 2024 BMW M8 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a meaningful chance to find a competitively priced example if you shop carefully.
Is the 2024 BMW M8 reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. For used buyers, that kind of feedback suggests lower ownership risk than you might expect from a high-performance luxury car, though you should still prioritize maintenance records and condition.
What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW M8?
Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.9% — always verify the vehicle history report. You should also put inspection priority on the car’s overall condition, since a performance model can hide expensive wear if it has been driven hard. Focus on signs of prior damage, uneven panel gaps, tire wear, and any evidence that the car has been modified or poorly maintained.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW M8?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage but should still compare listings carefully.
- Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 198 listings available.
- Clean inventory: 87.9% of listings are accident-free.
Should I buy a 2024 BMW M8 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2023 if:
- It adds Competition-only specification, a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, and more exterior color choices.
The bottom line: The 2024 BMW M8 is the better primary choice if you want the current-year used market with strong owner satisfaction and a decent share of good deals. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is worth a look because it brings similar flagship performance appeal and may offer a lower entry price.
