How much does the 2024 BMW 4 Series cost?

There are 1,156 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2024 BMW 4 Series a good car?

Yes — the 2024 BMW 4 Series earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a premium, distinctive coupe or convertible that blends a more dramatic design with familiar BMW hardware underneath, so you get style without giving up the brand’s core formula. It also stands out for generous standard equipment, including LED headlights, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, and satellite navigation, which makes it appealing if you want a sporty luxury car that feels well equipped from the start. With 37.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding one that fits your budget.

Is the 2024 BMW 4 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview suggests a familiar BMW foundation, with shared mechanical and interior parts with the 3 Series, plus a lineup built around turbocharged engines and an eight-speed automatic transmission. That combination points to a used car that should feel well sorted if it has been maintained properly, though long-term ownership risk still depends on service history, mileage, and how carefully the car was driven and cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW 4 Series?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not guarantee the specific car you are considering has a clean past. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a premium coupe or convertible where repair costs can climb quickly. Focus on overall condition, signs of wear in the interior, and whether the car’s equipment and maintenance records match the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW 4 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,156 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,891, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW 4 Series's resale value?

The current average of $42,891 sits slightly below last year's $45,245.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if depreciation continues at a steady pace. For a seller, the key advantage is that the model still has broad appeal thanks to its premium image, strong equipment list, and distinctive styling. If you keep the car in excellent condition and maintain it well, you improve your odds of holding value better than a neglected example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW 4 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the one to target first. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2024’s combination of deal availability and clean inventory.
