How much does the 2024 BMW 2 Series cost?

Is the 2024 BMW 2 Series a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 BMW 2 Series stands out as a compact BMW coupe that leans hard into the brand’s driver-focused identity, with a rear-wheel-drive layout and a sportier character. It also offers modern infotainment and a respectable list of standard features, which helps it work well if you want a small luxury coupe with real personality. The tradeoff is that it is less versatile than some shoppers may want, since the back seat is cramped and the ride is firm. Good and great deals make up 34.3% of listings, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 BMW 2 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 BMW 2 Series carried over largely unchanged, which can be reassuring if you prefer a proven setup over a fresh redesign. It also comes with a straightforward standard equipment list and familiar hardware, including a rear-wheel-drive layout and a turbocharged engine lineup. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about novelty and more about whether the car’s firm ride and compact cabin fit your needs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW 2 Series?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the car’s background and verify that the listing matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you want to check for signs of hard use, tire wear, or suspension issues on a coupe with a firm ride. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a well-kept example is more likely to feel as tight and polished as you expect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW 2 Series?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 977 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.65% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,911, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW 2 Series's resale value?

The current average of $32,911 sits slightly below last year's $35,253.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the car in strong condition and stay on top of maintenance, you can help protect value better than a neglected example. The model’s compact luxury-coupe appeal should continue to support demand among shoppers who want something more engaging than a mainstream alternative.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW 2 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $36,220, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $32,911 average.
• It adds more power and technology.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2024 if you want the better value and a strong mix of satisfaction, inventory, and pricing. If you’re willing to spend more for added power and technology, the 2025 is the better secondary path.
