You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches the equipment and condition you want. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you plan to keep the SUV long term, because repair costs can be high. Focus on signs of wear in the cabin, electronics, and any features you expect to use regularly.

What is the 2024 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $35,939 sits slightly below last year's $42,626.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. If you buy carefully now, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation pain later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 48.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $45,395, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $35,939 average.
• It adds a mid-cycle refresh with updated styling and features.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2024 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with broad inventory and strong deal availability. If you’re willing to pay more for the refreshed model and its updates, the 2025 is the alternative to consider; otherwise, the 2024 is the smarter choice for price-sensitive buyers.
