How much does the 2024 Audi A4 cost?

Is the 2024 Audi A4 a good car?

The 2024 Audi A4 stands out as a well-rounded compact luxury sedan with a strong mix of technology, performance, and everyday usability. It pairs a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with a mild-hybrid drivetrain, and it delivers 261 hp and 273 lb-ft. Audi’s Virtual Cockpit and the 10.1-inch MMI touch screen help the cabin feel modern, and available quattro all-wheel drive adds confidence in poor weather.

The A4 also has practical appeal if you want a premium German sedan that balances efficiency, available all-wheel drive, and a polished cabin with useful tech. 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Audi A4 reliable?

The 2024 Audi A4 is presented as a mature, well-rounded model with a settled formula, which is a good sign for shoppers who want a used luxury sedan with familiar hardware and a refined feature set. Its combination of a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, mild-hybrid drivetrain, and available quattro all-wheel drive points to a car built for balanced everyday use.

For long-term ownership, you should still expect premium-car maintenance and repair exposure, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters if you want to reduce future ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi A4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should confirm the car’s history report, then prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, drivetrain behavior, and overall condition. Because the A4’s appeal depends heavily on its tech and premium feel, you’ll want to make sure everything works as intended and that the car has been maintained consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 632 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,131, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $26,211 sits slightly below last year's $30,574.

That price movement suggests the A4 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can work in your favor if you’re buying used. For a future seller, it also means resale value may continue to be shaped by the model’s premium positioning, mileage, condition, and how well the car has been maintained. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong shape, you’ll be better positioned when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.27% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is a strong choice if you want the most current version of this generation’s mature formula, especially if you value modern cabin tech and a broad used-car market to shop from. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2024 gives you a compelling balance of availability, condition, and softened pricing.
